That is indeed a skull lantern, and I already have it mostly working (there are still a few issues with detecting which surface it should connect to and I need to set the bounding boxes). You already can get a skull as a mob drop in vanilla minecraft.

I had some issues with the first bone lantern model it was supposed to have only 1 support holding it up and have one horrizontal and one diagonal but due to some issues with Rotating objects in Techne i cant have anything rotated :/ so i had to go with the model shown above in post#144it still looks pretty nice imo
I thought the regular skeleton skull was a creative inventory thing. I know the wither skull is a drop but I've never seen it with the skeleton.
I just checked the minecraft wiki and it looks like you're right. I'll be sure to add normal skulls as a drop from skeletons when the lanterns are implemented.
So when's the update? I like to start each fresh minecraft version with an updated mod. Right now it's between you and thaumcraft. The others kinda fall beyond notice.
our 1.4.6 version works for 1.4.7. We probably wont release any update with new content until 1.5. I can safely say we do have some neat stuff planned for 1.5+ though.

It looks like an enchantment id thing? I checked the configs I could and it doesn't seem to be thaumcraft, redpower, harken scythe or twilight forest enchantments that are causing this, and I don't know that I'm adding any others? Is there a config for this mod and I'm just missing it?
edit: upon further testing the clash seems to stop when i remove thaumcraft. the tc enchantment ids are 150-155, not the 111 listed in the error log. Are there any weird things going on with enchantment ids that I'm not aware of?
