I see the mod has finally updated, and I might use it in my private modpack so I have a few questions.
1: is starconium ore and osmonium ore just as rare as they were in 1.6.4? I remember it being nearly impossible to find either, even with twilight forest's ore magnet
2: is the mod stable in its current state?
3: what happened to ultra ore?
4: will there be future compatibility with tinker's construct?
5: why make starconium gems only obtainable by smelting rather than just getting the gems by mining the ore? since starconium is so rare to come by, fortune should be the way to go like it used to plus almost no one will ever be able to make any of the starconium related stuff except maybe a sword.

I don't think it would be possible to make certain golems like osmonium and starconium. Those resources are so rare that its impossible to make them plus fortune doesn't work on them either.

Sorry about that, it was a bad idea on my part to implement. At first I thought it would be a good idea to have it in the mod since the tier system was completely changed but now it is a huge annoyance.
Though as of right now, I am taking a break from Minecraft and CrazyOres to focus more on other projects I am working on. I may release a new version to get rid of the annoying chat feature in the future but I do not want to promise anything as I am not as involved with Minecraft modding as I used to be.
Thanks for everyone's support over this crazy 4 year journey. You guys are awesome.

Interesting bug: running Crazy Ores and Twilight Forest at the same time means that oceans in Twilight Forest are jam packed with great white sharks, to the point where my game noticably drops FPS.
EDIT: Scratch that, any body of water really. Come across a puddle and there's three great whites circling. >:D

I played this mod way back in 1.6.4 and now I'm back and this mod has really evolved. One thing I would like to suggest is to make the weapons in the mod deal more damage. The special effects are good features but the weapons won't be commonly used in-game when it does little damage, I've tried playing in survival and I rarely use some of the ores. Making the sword deal about 15+ damage will make the ores stand out from vanilla weapons.
Could someone tell me how to add CrazyOres into VeinMiner? Adding the Item ID via the in-game console added them to the config, but it didn't do anything. I tried changing the # to crazyores:# in the config, but that did nothing. Am I missing something?

I haven't played the new version yet, but from my experience, adamite isn't that rare. You may need to go deeper underground.
i have gone down to 11 and up to 50 and everywhere inbetween, i never found any

try going down to bedrock. if you still can't find any then its probably bugged.

So...for some reason....I can't craft fences with this mod on. So...I'm not sure how I'm supposed to keep my animals penned.....
with glass or other blocks?
