Traps! Enemies! Treasures! Underground mazes! And secret tomb with sacrophagus!

This mod adds Mazes filled with treasures, monsters and deadly traps! However, they are dynamically generated, so every maze differs from the others. They are quite rare, so be patient in searching Also, there are newly added underground mazes! They are located under the largest surface mazes and are filled with even more dangers!

Bazillau spotlight (v.1.31)
Basic info:
Each maze consists of 7x7 parts, which are randomly chosen from inner database and randomly rotated. The whole maze is then assembled. There are also three new blocks - Bush, Wolfspawner and gravel pressure plate. Bush looks like leaves, but is harder to destroy, don't decay and can be harvested using shears. Second block is similar to Mob Spawner, but it spawns wolves. Gravel pressure plate is basically common pressure plate but with gravel texture. Spawners are randomly generated under the maze, chests have random chance to spawn on fixed locations. I also added deadly traps waiting for you. There are underground mazes located under the largest surface mazes waiting for you! But they are very rare and the entrance is well hidden. The most stubborn treasure seekers can even found sercet tomb!

Installation:
To install Dynamic Mazes, go to C:/Users/Yourusername/AppData/Roming/.minecraft/mods/ and put the whole archive(do not unzip it!) into this folder.If the folder mods is not there, launch Minecraft after installation of Forge once and it should create the folder.

0.95 alt - The chance of spawning maze is 3.5x higher and the chance of underground maze spawning under large surface maze is increased from 50% to 75%0.95 - Now fow for MC 1.2.3, increased spawning rate of mazes, minor loot changes
0.94 - Altered loot, underground mazes have better loot now, altered spawning algorithm a bit0.93 - Wolf spawner are back and fixed, minor spawn changes
0.92 - Wolf spawners removed - caused huge errors whith generation(but the spawner code is still there for possible future fix)
0.91 - Underground maze trap fix, minor spawn changes
0.9 - few code modifications, slightly bigger mazes, upgraded spawning method, new feature - rare underground mazes!
0.8 - maze roads are now made of gravel, new block - gravel pressure plate, few code modifications, new feature - deadly traps!
0.6 beta - altered generating code (now more efficient), (hopefully) works with ID resolver now, new maze parts, increased maximum size of maze

Thanks! :smile.gif: I thought of mob that can spawn on sunlight, don't burn in it, and attack on sight and angry wolves are the only mob that fits on it :smile.gif: Additionally, they are fast, which makes casing in the maze more challenging :smile.gif:
Love the mod. But there is a problem. I use id resolver which changes the ids for me. It changes the bush block id. (it conflicted with one of my mods) Now the mazes are made out of the block that conflicted with the bush not the actual bush block. I think you should add a config file to change the ids!

i didnt do anything with the mazes so thats the way it generated. but it was in a forest so theres a chance the trees messed up the maze generation. but i didnt destroy or add anything so you would have to look at the video to maybe see if the generation is messed up or not.

I already checked everything and it seems that it was caused by the game (trees or something), so I can't do anything about it, but since I started testing it, this is the first time I see this glitch :smile.gif:

i know what u could do:
- add traps in the maze(like with pistons and stuff, could be hard though)
- add more varieties of mobs instead of only wolves
- make difficulty mazes
- one easy - be small and not many aggressive mobs
- one medium - be medium size and couple aggressive mobs
- one hard - very large and with a lot of aggressive mobs
this is right now on the top of my head and if u need help feel free to pm me

- traps - thinking about it right now. But they would be very noticeable, meybe if I change maze roads from grass to gravel, which would add more possibilities for the traps, so I try to experiment and I will see how it turns out
- mobs - I would like to, but they would only spawn in night.
- mazes - the size generates randomly, from 3 to 9 parts (etc. from 21 to 56 blocks) and spawners generate randomly, so I quite like it how it works now. Maybe I add some special things to the large mazes

No, it is mod. It alters world generators. New mazes only appears on the unexplored parts of map. And thanks for the diamonds :smile.gif:
