I have a minor question about 'dim torches'. Why do they turn into so many torches? I mean, I get you wanted a spooky lighting level, or a dangerous one. But where does the decision to have them turn into a stack come from? I realize the idea of equivalent exchange isn't exactly level in Minecraft, but adding flint creates six torches from one. Adding a stick and coal makes eight. So coal + stick = torch, coal + stick + dim torch = eight torches. Perhaps 8 dim torches + 1 coal = eight torches. The recipe itself seems pointless anyways, only serving to 'correct' something that isn't a problem in the base game anyways. My recommendation is to just remove torches from all the dungeons and do away with the idea and recipes. Otherwise its just a feature that has no effect on the base game, seems out of place and is useful only a minor exploit if you should happen across it.

How do I get items with metadata values (e.g. Spawners, Spawn Eggs, Logs, Wooden Planks, Leaves, Dyes, Potions, etc.) to show up in chests?
I currently have it at:
52:55-1-1-64-64-1
This should make Slime Spawners appear in dungeons almost all the time, but does not work.
But if I do:
52-1-1-64-64-1
It does make Spawners appear in almost every chest, but only the default ones (Pig)...
I can't add some mod items into the loot system because of this. Please help! D:

It seemed every time we entered a room it would crash, I'm sure it's because someone was breaking a torch. Since it's the "modBlockTorch" class that was throwing the error on line 26. :-)
Also, if it help any I'm running MC version 1.4.5 (on both my client and server of course), and New Dungeons 1.8.5.

Is there any way to install this with Magic Launcher? Whenever I try, it says "no mods found". Any way to fix this?
i don't know how magic launcher works but i think the problem is that lithal's dl has the .zip then a folder then the files. put the files in there own zip, and i think it should work.

I'm finding a similar issue with ForgeModLoader. I can see that the total amount of loaded mods has increased (which it means that surely New dungeon Mod has been loaded). I can also see some debug information which suggests the same. But once inside the application, I can't see the name of the mod inside Mods menu.
its "mod_GenTest" this mod started out as a little terrain generation test. and i never changed the name of the file.

I wasn't sure that this mod was the culprit until I came to this thread and saw you refer to it as mod_GenTest.
Forge might be renumbering some of your block/item IDs as it sometimes needs to integrate a large mod collection.
