I'm also getting an error for single player (Client). I've installed ModLoader 1.2.3, AudioMod 1.2.3 and ModLoaderMP 1.2.3 v2, I deleted my META.INF folder, and I put your Minions mod in my .minecraft folder as instructed, yet this is the error I get:

thanks for your help
... you may need to read the op a bit better it also says you need audio mod
OK i completely cleaned up Minecraft of anything and then installed the version you have linked that says 1.2.3 and installed modloader and modloadermp and audio mod and still got the same error. Please help I would love to use this mod.
I installed each mod required separately starting with modloader and tested minecraft and got no error until minions mod. Now I did download this mod after you said you fixed that crash with summoning minions it worked before that until i summoned minions. Now I don't know what is going on.

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I have no idea what I'm doing, but it seems all my stuff was changed to "Girl Gamer"
any other mods? modloader, modloadermp, auidiomod installed? appears mod_minion in the modloader config?
I downloaded Modloader and modloadermp, audiomod too. I followed a tutorial, i was thinking he/she missed something, since he/she didn'tput two folders in the jar, i tried the same thing, i thought i was doing it right since minecraft didn't blackscreen.
1. Don't pretend to be a retard
2. Get the requirement - ModLoaderMP - install following that one's instructions
3. put "mods" folder from Minions archive next to your server.jar
the problem i'm having involves modloadermp because i don't know how to install modloadermp..... i open up minecraft.exe with winrar and try to drag the items from modloadermp into my minecraft.exe but then it says that the archive is corrupt and I've tried re-downloading but i think its just something i'm doing wrong can you help me
First of all, I'm Brazilian, so hope you don't mind my bad English.
I was trying to get this working on SMP and everything seemed to be right. But I couldn't see any Minions although they were doing their job (I mean, they could Dig Mineshaft, Strip Mine, etc). I can't make a better explanation, so I think this screenshot should make things clearer:

the server .exe cannot be modded, you need the .jar file (found at the same spot)

And I'm aware of this:
Nevertheless, for me, "oddness regarding their movement and animations" should not mean that they couldn't be seen.
Yes, they do (everything is fine in single player). I forgot to mention that there's no sound and I'll check if the others mods are interfering. Here's what I did:
.... ModLoaderMP needs to go into the client jar file.
That should be very obvious, sorry, silly me.
And for those who are still wondering if there are any incompatibility with the mods I mentioned in my last post: there aren't.
Note that all the process during my posts (this and the two before it) were made at version 1.2.3 (official release).

This is the error from the standalone test. (.bat file)
Order I did things.
1/ In a fresh jar, deleted Meta-Inf
2/ Added modloader files into the jar
3/ Added modloadermp files into the jar
4/ Added audiomod files into the jar
5/ Added Minions mod .zip into the mods folder
6/ Added extracted Minions mod client files into the Mods folder
7/ Deleted ALL other mods in the mods folder. Deleted ALL other configs, not related to this mod.
There is NO error report.
Minecraft launcher appears, hit login, black screen.
No modloader error, as it hasn't loaded anything.
Have tried steps /2 /3 and /4 in different orders. No change.
What you posted is an error report
Assuming thats minecraft 1.2.3, its a method signature error in Block.blockSapling
Completely unrelated to Minions, you did something else wrong
you can right click a block and they will go there until further instructions

Wrong modloaderMP
Did not put config file in mods folder
I downloaded Modloader and modloadermp, audiomod too. I followed a tutorial, i was thinking he/she missed something, since he/she didn'tput two folders in the jar, i tried the same thing, i thought i was doing it right since minecraft didn't blackscreen.

Thats a new one. Do they show in single player?
Yes, they do (everything is fine in single player). I forgot to mention that there's no sound and I'll check if the others mods are interfering. Here's what I did:
.minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar
1. ModLoader
2. AudioMod
3. Terraria Trees
4. Zombe's ModPack
5. TooManyItems
6. Optifine
//INSTALLED MODLOADER FIRST!!!
.minecraft/mods
1. ReiMinimap
2. ModLoaderMP
3. MinecraftMinions
//KEPT META-INF FOLDER!!!
.minecraftserver/minecraft_server.jar
1. Terraria Trees Server
2. ModLoaderMP Server
.minecraftserver/mods
1. MinecraftMinions Server
Edit: Now I did:
.minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar
1. ModLoader
2. AudioMod
//INSTALLED MODLOADER FIRST!!!
.minecraft/mods
1. ModLoaderMP
2. MinecraftMinions
//KEPT META-INF FOLDER!!!
.minecraftserver/minecraft_server.jar
1. ModLoaderMP Server
.minecraftserver/mods
1. MinecraftMinions Server
Edit2: Then, I did:
.minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar
1. ModLoader
2. AudioMod
3. ModLoaderMP
//INSTALLED MODLOADER FIRST!!!
.minecraft/mods
1. MinecraftMinions
//KEPT META-INF FOLDER!!!
.minecraftserver/minecraft_server.jar
1. ModLoaderMP Server
.minecraftserver/mods
1. MinecraftMinions Server

Force updated it, instead of using my backup jar, and that worked fine.
Sweet mod.
