idk if this is a bug but it doesnt tell me in the chat box when a meteor hits, this would be helpful to find meteors more faster, ive found a couple but all of the were already cooled, its kinda frusturating i dont know what i can do to fix it, i mostly play offline, so does it matter about the game telling you when a meteor hits if im playing offline or must it be online to tell you...idk but if this is a bug please fix it thx

Tis not a bug. You can use meteor detectors to find the meteors or if you just want to have a text notification when it crashes, then change the option "Text Crash Notification" to true in the configuration file.
the particles from the meteor shield sometimes becames black(or is ti just me)

if you go into another dimension you won't be able to summon meteor's but if you come back it still doesn't work util you close the window.

The spawn egg textures are simply two colors. I just haven't made them different colors to match their entities yet. The unknown meteor has no texture because I guess I didn't feel like it needed it. It adds to the unknown factor haha, but I can add that in no problem. The particles on the meteor shield do need fixing. I've been trying to track down the issue. I've tried many things, but nothing seems to be working yet. I shall hopefully get that fixed soon.
The summoner bug I did not know of and after checking it just now, I can already see a few new bugs with the summoner. I shall get that fixed too.
I can tame the kitties just fine. Just remember that they are just like ocelots in that they take raw fish and are only tamed when they take interest in you. So approach the kitty very cautiously.

Version 2.9.1 released! Fixes a lot of visual issues, but also fixes the entity summoner from goofing up as well as many other miscellaneous things. Check the changelog for more detailed information on the changes. As always, keep informing me about bugs I may have missed. I also want everyone's input on what to do next for this mod. It has grown to be fairly big and I'm wondering where to go from here.

I'm getting a severe error from this, but I can't really copy and paste it because it's only showing on the server console window (the command prompt), and not in the server.log, nor is there an error log for it. It's scrolling incredibly fast, so I can't even entirely read it. The best I was able to do was get a screenshot of this much:
Is there any way to disable meteor spawning, and remove all meteor content to be able to remove the mod without having to start a world over? As much as I like the mod, this scroll of errors is heavily lagging out my server, and I can't figure out what the cause is nor how to fix it.
Edit: Server's running a lot more stable so long as nobody on the server has any armor equipped or any tools from this mod. For some reason, the enchanted items from the mod are causing the server to seize out. I'm going out on a limb to say it's repeatedly refreshing the information on the enchantments, perhaps too frequently, which is causing severe instability and lag. I love the mod, but that just really hurt my gameplay. Perhaps do some checks on the enchantments and tools, and add more to the config (such as how often meteors actually spawn, the ability to turn off meteors entirely [via a command perhaps], etcetera). Just a suggestion.

I see the problem. Sort of a typo on my side, I severely apologize. I shall edit the code real quick and get that fixed for everyone. I shall re-edit this post when it is done.
Edit: All fixed. I released it as a totally new version because this was a major bug and I apologize for not spotting it beforehand. Also, you can change the rate in which meteors fall and you can turn off specific meteors from falling in the config. Meteor Fall Deterrence is what controls the rate in which meteors fall and there is an option for each meteor type to be enabled in the config. Check out the configuration section in the main thread for more info.
Excuse me, I'm having issues with the detectors. When I craft them, they just move around aimlessly like a compass in the nether or the end. How come this happens? I just want to find the meteors so I can get some of the materials to make armor.

When they move around aimlessly, that means that there are no meteors in orbit (or in the case of the crash detector, no meteor has crashed). So just wait long enough and some meteors will start popping up.
I would appreciate some error report to show me why it isn't so I can try to fix it.

When you say everything, do you mean in your inventory or in the world?
Edit: I've checked it and no bug appears. Please give me more info so I can try to re-create the bug and get it fixed.

All in the main thread and everything except the magnetic tools are made just like regular minecraft tools and armor with the appropriate materials.
