I have successfully converted my 1.2.5 ModLoader and Forge based version into a 1.3.2 Forge dependent version!
I included a date-stamp as well as the monitor to show you that it is 1.3.2. I also positioned my emeralds next to the default ones to show you the difference.
Although this looks completely finished, I still have a couple days of work, as I need to work on GUIs, crafting, ore generation, etc. However, we're so close to being done!
I've taken a very long break from modding, but I'll be back into it very soon. I'll give you more information soon as to what's included in the new version(s) as well as who helped me update. Thanks for reading!
Alright guys, it's been updated to 1.3.2. I'm sad to say that this will be the last update ever for this mod. I made this mod when I first learned how to, and when I was still pretty much a beginner with Java. Now, I'm moving on to making games with LWJGL, etc. This has consumed a lot of my time, and with 1.3.2, everything got messed up. So, thank you all for your support, and make sure to download the most recent version here. That is for 1.3.2, which as stated above, will be the last version this is supported on.
Thank you all for your support once again, but this mod will be discontinued officially when the next version of Minecraft comes out. I might make a modding API, but as of now, Minecraft has become boring to me. I don't even play it or anything. So yeah, thanks again, and have fun.
In this version, there are some bugs with rendering, etc. but it shouldn't be a problem.

If people still have a genuine interest in seeing the mod continue, i'll continue updating it for you TFC, just let me know.

No thanks dude, it seems the popularity has completely fallen after taking so long to update. I don't want it to continue after 1.3.2 just because nobody is active with it anymore
Man, could you please don´t stop this mod, maybe only 1 more update? It´s still the best ores mod out there and it would be a shame if we lose it! Also by the way could it be that something is wrong with the textures in the newest version? Seems like they are the old textures, ... however, I think you shouldn´t stop this mod. Don´t let it die!

I'm sorry, but I think I've actually pretty much quit modding all together. I might mod other games and do other things, but my mod has become so large (in terms of code) that it just seems too cluttered. When I first started this mod, I was a complete beginner at modding, and sort of a beginner at Java. Therefore, some of my REALLY old code is REALLY outdated, and at this point, there isn't nearly as much support as I would like for it to be updated.
Thank your for sticking with it though! It's been fun seeing all the support
Completely agreed. TFC, I understand why you are quitting. But please, PLEASE, don't. This is LITERALLY one of my favorite mods, plus I have been working on something that will die without this mod! So please TFC, if not for me, so it for Pelirow, or all the hard work you put into the gem crafting table. Please.
If you don't, then I guess this is the last time I talk to you. So goodbye.

I'm so sorry. I just can't. It's messed with my grades, my sanity, and even my social interaction. I just can't hold onto it anymore. Thank you for all you've done.
Sad to see the mod go, but if you feel it's time to take a break from it, I totally support that man. You know I've always said do what you enjoy, no matter how many ideas I (or anyone else) threw at you. I'm sure you learned a lot about java and gained some great experience. If it's affected your RL that much and it just isn't fun anymore then taking a nice, long break- whether it's for good or you end up getting the itch later again- might be what you need the most.
It's not you who should be thanking us, but us who should be thanking you. It was a wonderful experience playing with and watching this mod grown man! It was a fun journey, no doubt.
If you do end up getting the itch again down the road, you can always use that as a new challenge with this mod- completely rewriting it so it's streamlined and efficient with all the new coding skills you've developed. Even if you don't ever release it, there's still a lot you can learn from your work on this mod for you own use.
It'd be easy to say NO!!! and try to convince you to keep on working on this awesome mod. In the end, this mod is about you, what you want to do, and what you enjoy. If you feel it's time to walk away, do so with a smile on your face and head held high- you've earned it!

Thanks man. You've been here from the beginning, and we've become great friends throughout the mod's history. It has indeed advanced my knowledge of Java, so it was an awesome gateway. I met many awesome people along the way such as you and ghostrec35, and I even know a bit about you just from us talking. Thanks again, and I wish you luck later on

He's finished modding minecraft, though he isn't sure whether he wants to stop programming or not.
If you or anyone else want this mod to be updated further, i'll remake it. Unfortunately TFC won't let me maintain it from now on as he claims it's "Not worth my time," so I can't get his permission to just update his source.

What he said. I will continue programming, and ghostrec has volunteered to teach me the lower depths (in terms of other APIs) of Java such as LWJGL. So, this mod was just a basic learning stage, and now I'm at another stage. Although, like I said, no matter who volunteers to update this mod or recontinue it will be turned down.
Although, if I truly get back into Minecraft again, I might start a modder's API or another mod. Who knows? It's essentially just this mod that's been shut down.
Nice mod But for some items you should be able to make gems into sticks and use them on bows swords battle axes and etc. so can get combo effects??
also please please please!!!! you need to release multiple texture packs so each er can choose thier own style. also make the txture packs customisable in case you like two parts of two different texture packs !WHAT SHUT DOWN NO!!!!!!!! why :[
Congrats! best of luck getting it updated.
