Hey, your Closed Captions Mod looks great! Definitely something Mojang should add to Vanilla. Both for the Deaf and hard of hearing as well as for times when people need to have the sound off. Please keep that going.
I'm sorry to hear that your cousin has cancer, I'm glad though that she's attempting treatment for it and I hope that it's successful.

The mods in this mod pack are all so minor... I can get almost 40 mods running myself including mo' creatures, IC2, buildraft, Redpower, Railcraft, Zepplin mod, laser mod, Thaumcraft, and heaps more.
You should make a mod pack worth playing. Don't worry about getting permission either.

Well, Mod-Pack Threads without permission tend to get shut down by this forum. And if it's shut down then the goal of raising money for charity won't be very successful will it?
This Mod-Pack appears to be striving for complete legitimacy. How many people would trust the Charity aspect/goal of the Pack if it were being handled like a rogue project by script-kiddies flipping everyone off?
It's easy for someone to say "Include all these mods", anyone can think of that. But to actually do the work of creating a fully legitimate and authorized pack is a labor of love, sweat and tears. As time goes by hopefully more mod owners will trust this pack enough to allow their mods to be added as well.

ImmunityBow: When you are able to release this for MC v1.2.5 be sure to include Cart Mod v1.2.1. It has major feature upgrades compared to what was in the MCv1.1 versions and should be as if not more compatible with other mods as it was before.

Part 2: Installing the Modpack:
1. Close Minecraft and locate your .minecraft folder by running %APPDATA% (Windows 7), or searching for %APPDATA% in the start menu (Vista). Note: Could a Linux user and Mac user tell me how to do this in Linux and Mac?
Under Linux %AppData%\.minecraft is something like ~/.minecraft
For ubuntu and other distributions that use nautilus use this in a terminal (Ctrl + Alt + T)
nautilus ~/.minecraft
