Change Log
Version 1.0b:
-Changed the 7 'Scrolls' to 1 Item, so.. You will lose all but your Tier 1 items right after you update, I chose to have 1 Item with the ability to have a couple thousand different subTypes, wrather than 7 items with 256 subTypes. Incase your wondering, the Enchantment Books start at itemDamage 256, 0 - 255 are reserved for some stuff I want to add , which will be in 1.1a
-Changed the 'Scrolls' to 'books'
-Added a Config Option to only add the Enchantment Table, disabling everything else. BE CAREFUL, if you load a world with guiOnly set to true, you may experience problems if you have anything from the mod in it, besides the enchantment table. you have been warned.
-Fixed the dark GUI issue
-Removed the miss-information bit in 'Bookshelves'
-When Transfering Enchantments, the Item being transfered FROM will get destroyed
-Removed the Mouse coord spam from the console
-Removed Enchantment Books from the Dungeons, they are only accessible in Creative for now. Only temporary
Version 1.0a:
-Changed the name from 'Unofficial Better Enchanting' to 'Enchanting Plus'
-Removed the need to edit the jar
-Added dependency on Minecraft Forge
-Compete rewrite, starting from scratch
-Added a new Items for each Enchantment, in which they let you add that enchantment to a item, they are found in dungeons. They go in the second Item slot of the Enchantment Table, and if you have a Item it can go on, then you can Transfer the Enchantment to a item for a small price.\
-Added the Transfer action, in which you can transfer enchantments from one Item to another for a small price.
-Reworked the UI
-Added a mouse-over tip to the left of the screen to tell you what each action does.
-Enchanting/Disenchanting a Item nolonger requires the item to be fully repaired.
What this mod does
This mod completely gets rid of the randomness of enchanting and allows you to pick what YOU want on your tools! It is. It will register enchantments that other mods add and will show up for the appropriate tool.
On a side note: I dont think many people know how it assigns enchantments. When a enchant goes dark to where you cannot select it, then that means the enchantment is not compatable with a enchantment you have selected. for instance, the smite enchantment is not compatable with sharpness or the bane of arachnopod because there all damage enchantments, its coded that way by vanilla minecraft.
On another side not, In creative, you have no limit for exp, so I removed the numbers beside the item for creative, and creative does not lower your exp, for when you go from survival to creative and back to survival, you will still have the same xp if you enchanted something in creative.
Technical Info(Read for use)
Enchanting Plus v 1.0a adds a new action, transfer,which lets you move all the enchantments from a item to another. The second item slot is only used for transfer.
This diagram will show the most effective setup of bookshelves.
TOP
SIDE
Placing bookshelves in the normal order around the enchantment table will reduce the cost of the enchantments. The enchantment cost is also reduced by the items enchantability.
You can now repair, enchant, disenchant, and transfer freely.
Disenchanting allows you to remove any enchantments you want, giving back most of the experience.
You can scroll through the available enchantments with a mouse's scroll button.
These process WILL remember how many bookshelves were used in enchanting the item, so you cannot cheat .
Minecraft Forge adds a method into Enchantment:
public boolean canEnchantmentItem(ItemStack itemstack)
{
return type.canEnchantItem(itemstack.getItem());
}
if you are using Minecraft Forge, it will use this Method instead of using the enum's canEnchantItem.
I do not care if it is included in any mod compilation, you need not ask permission, I only require you to tell me what it is being added to(for Version 1.1.1 you do not need to tell me.)
Did you fix the problem with not being able to enchant tools with lvl 50 enchantments?
Also, thanks for updating this!

Playing since Beta 1.3_01. Yeah. I like BTW. Or used to. Still do. Stuff Technic. (Back in the day...)

I could remove it, but i'm not. When the enchantments were random and you could get multiple level 4 enchantments on 1 item, the level block was fine. With the level block and fixed enchantment prices, it is hard to get multiple good enchantments on a item. I would like to see the level block increased or removed to accommodate for the fixed enchantment prices tho.
Alright, so here's what's happening to me: I have all the bookshelves in the correct way around my enchanting table, and I put my diamond pick in the slot. The number "16" comes up in white just to the left of the picture of my diamond pick, and won't let me exceed level 16 as an enchant, even though I have 48 levels.
