Turrets are STILL a great idea, plus, it references another mod these guys made, the turret mod!
Oh, and it isn't OP.
Soldiers are already capable of throwing snowballs to slow enemies, and fireballs to burn them. There's also this cool thing with lightning bolts. As for turrets, the nexus is already throwing projectiles if you set it up to. You can load it up with any ranged attack the soldiers can use themselves.

How about the staff being made like a sword but instead of 2 of any metal you put in 2 vines. The holder of the staff can set down vine-traps. The traps will cover a 1x1 area and deal slow but continual damage, plus any soldier in the trap moves 25% slower. The traps harm ALL soilders regardless of which color put it down. Only 8-10 traps can be set per staff and no duel wielding. The holder of the staff will take 1.5 times more damage to fire related attacks due to the vines around the staff.

You won't get much help on this website. Go llok on page 1 and it has a link to website where you post all the issues you have in the code.
Its a rewrite, not (technically) removed (cause that feature has never existed in the rewrite). Also, that is one of the lowest things on the priority list, so it will take a while before anyone gets on it. (probably)

Yeah that makes more sense. How about in addition(in order to counter-act vine traps) if you give a clay soilder a full shear they can cut the traps down.

I have an XBox tag, but only because I needed one to try the Windows 10 version. I don't have an XBox.
Yeah that makes more sense. How about in addition(in order to counter-act vine traps) if you give a clay soilder a full shear they can cut the traps down.
Turrets are STILL a great idea, plus, it references another mod these guys made, the turret mod!

recently rediscovered this account and the memories have been flowing back, let me tell you. it's INSANE.
Soldiers are already capable of throwing snowballs to slow enemies, and fireballs to burn them. There's also this cool thing with lightning bolts. As for turrets, the nexus is already throwing projectiles if you set it up to. You can load it up with any ranged attack the soldiers can use themselves.

Actually the amount made in crafting isn't involved in the balance of actual soldier combat. But past that even you are still pushing it a bit.
How about the staff being made like a sword but instead of 2 of any metal you put in 2 vines. The holder of the staff can set down vine-traps. The traps will cover a 1x1 area and deal slow but continual damage, plus any soldier in the trap moves 25% slower. The traps harm ALL soilders regardless of which color put it down. Only 8-10 traps can be set per staff and no duel wielding. The holder of the staff will take 1.5 times more damage to fire related attacks due to the vines around the staff.

I'm sure these questions have already been answered, but I played this mod a while ago, and upon playing it again I've noticed some missing features.
First of all, soldiers don't seem to take items from chests anymore. I know that was in an older version, any particular reason why it's gone?
And secondly, the nexus used to be extremely customizable, and allowed you to set how many soldiers spawned, at what frequency, with what items, etc. regardless of how many soldiers were already present on the battlefield. But now, it spawns a plain ten soldiers, and only if there are less than ten soldiers of that color present on the battlefield.
Hopefully these two features will return at some point!

You do realize they rebuilt most of the mod from scratch, so anything during those versions is to be re-implemented. This has been stated enough times already. (I literally stated that fact on building a few posts ago, on this exact page)

True, but slime balls are projectiles, they only affect on clay soilder, and don't do damage.
Slime applies its effect to any attack.
