very nice, but one thing i have a vanilla server i host with mods like simple ores and buildcarft so it can't be a bukkit server, so i have to way of setting the spawn, coudl you make the spawn plate available for mulitplayer?
I've found...something? I'm not sure if it's a bug (because I have waaayy too many mods installed, so it could be an incompatibility, though MCPatcher says no) but I'm unable to create Lapis, Iron, Gold, or Diamond Slabs. Everything else works fine. I can change the slab's height though, top or bottom. I just can't make them. o.o
Adding the small details that Notch didn't. Currently there's only one part, the BBQ. Trust me, there's a ton more on the way. I have about 20 more things I want to add in the near future.
Until then, enjoy grilling your meat!
Also, Forge is a yes for my mods, as I'm subtracting the "Forge will eat me alive" from the "No" votes, leaving 14:1. It will take a bit, but the first new feature in my mods: All blocks added to creative item list!
UPDATE: Due to a few people asking me, I'll update Christmas to Minecraft 1.1... For whatever reason people are still using it in February I can't explain though...
Way fun and totally cool! Though...would it be possible to get rid of the wool status for the extra slabs? The sound it makes when placing/removing/walking on is all wool...
Another idea:: Is there a possibility of making redstone work on and under slabs?
Example: I place a redstone wire one block under my floor, but I want to take a slab and place it over the redstone to hide it. Alternatively, I want to add in on top of a lower slab, and place it in a ceiling.
This is just the mod that I was looking for! Can't wait till it gets updated.
Will it work with Optifine? I know that Forge and Modloader can have conflicts with some other things.
I'm looking into updating ASAP. I'm using the MoreSlabs mod with optifine right now, it works but flickers a little bit every so often, although this could be caused by the other mods I'm using.
Mods are now updating to 1.2.3, MoreSlabs is done. NOTE: Grass Slab recipe has changed from using seeds to using tall grass (Use shears on tall grass to get the block), also added Jungle Leaves and Logs, both top and bottom. I also added all of the slabs to the creative mode menu, and all my mods will require Forge as of the 1.2.3 updates.
OK, SpawnPlate is for 1.2.3, about to release. I've been spending the past few hours trying to get it to work on vanilla multiplayer, but it just won't work. Bukkit I may look into another time, but for now it's singleplayer only. Sorry everyone.
Currently the only feature that uses the forge is the slabs in the creative mode menu. I have plans for more.
Why, because I dont like to use forge as it makes many mods incompatible. I also have a set of mods which isn't forge compatible which I use, thus conflicting

Just out of curiosity, what mods are incompatible?
I may create a no-forge version of MoreSlabs, although it may lack some of the features that the forge version has.
Problem solved: There was no png file for this thing. I downloaded it from version 1.8.1 and it works I suggest to add it to the owner, otherwise Minecraft crashes. Thx for help XD
To the author:
Please make a version for 1.2.4
Did I actually forget to include the textue? Wow...
1.2.4: I'm waiting until ModLoader and MCP are updated.
EDIT: Nvm, I found why. >.<
It currently adds only one block, but trust me, I have big plans :biggrin.gif:

Edit: I can't make a grass slab. Tried tall grass, even seeds just cuz, but neither work.

mods that edits certain base classes which overwrites forge, and somehow making my 32 texturepack crashing
what does the modloader.txt say?
