Tried to run this on my computer, but it didn't work at all. The game was laggy beyond belief. Here are my specs, what do I need to upgrade?
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4670 CPU @ 3.40GHz
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
Memory: 8.1 GB
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit

The 660 should drive the shaders at an ok FPS. Are you running a super high resolution? Try 720p and see if that helps. Also try updating your drivers.

If someone in an S class cuts me off, I don't get upset. He obviously has important things to do. Now, someone in a Toyota? We're fighting.
These forums are dumb and break my links. I'm bubbleawsome on steam too.
Why is minecraft w/ shaders only using 10-20% of my GPU. In vanilla minecraft it uses 10-20% too... Doesn't this seems odd? Shouldn't shaders be more GPU demanding than plain vanilla minecraft? Other games use 50-60%. Only reason I ask is because I'm getting 20 fps with a card that runs BF4 on ultra settings at 50 fps.

I'm running a 280x too and I see 100% usage. Are your drivers updated? Is vsync on?

I was getting over 70 fps before the issue arose. I updated the drivers and am getting over 80 fps now. DirectX games weren't affected at all in this whole problem, so the old driver must've became corrupted or something. Also the new drivers included updates for OpenGL support so that might be responsible for the increased fps.
EDIT: My GPU usage is up to 60-70% now, thanks for the help. I also noticed that the old driver wasn't recognizing all of the shader units, and the shaders clock was lower than it should be.
I downloaded the last version and put Minecraft in 1.7.10 as the tutorial said, and i was running the game with it just fine, but from nowhere the screen goes black and a message saying "Faild Creating Shadow Framebuffer (Status 36054)" appeard.
Ok, as with any bug report no one can help without knowing what you are working with, meaning: What version of Minecraft, Shader Core and SEUS you are using. Plus and most importantly your PC specs, Graphics Card model and Driver version.
To find your specs:
Click Windows Start Button.
Type "Device Manager", then click on that the icon.
Now click "Display Adapters", this will give you your GPU model (Graphics Card).
Now right click on your graphics card model and left click "Properties".
Finally click on "Drivers" at the top, this will give you your Driver version.
Simples
Fixed by using x64 java and use 4gb mem alloc(i have 8gb ram)
Are the DL links legit? I get a lot of warnings from my virus scanners/anti-malware programs?
Also, is version 10.0 for 1.6.4?
Thanks.
Yes of course it's legit, it's SEUS, it's one of the most popular and biggest mods on the web. What you are referring to is "Adfoc.us and AdF.ly" two of the most common hosting services for links to websites or downloads. Mod creators use them to link their downloads as a way of making a few dollars/pounds to help them out. They only make about a pound/dollar per 1000 downloads, but it helps and it doesn't effect you or me, we just have to wait 5 seconds to skip the advertisements.
Your Anti-Virus is detecting that the Advertisements on the Adfoc.us and Adf.ly pages might be suspicious, "Not" SEUS actual download links, they are on a completely different page after the ad page.
Here is a tip about this type of thing:
"Anti-Virus Software" does NOT protect you from all viruses or nasty things online. They can only protect you from things that are well known and on their database, meaning Old out dated malware/viruses. A huge amount of computer enthusiasts just use common sense and don't use anti-virus software. Common sense meaning "Don't Click Ads On Any Sites!" They are all some sort of rubbish advert, scam or nasty thing and can only infect your PC if you are silly enough to click on them.
AV software also gives a LOT of false positives, meaning it looks for types of code and can sometimes see what "It Thinks" is nasty code in normal completely harmless things.
It's 2014, use "Adblock" so the nasty little ads don't even show up, it's free, safe and can be downloaded and installed in seconds on every internet browser.
Please help, I really, really, REALLY love shaders, but it says when i'm loading a world that the program isn't responding, and I have to shut it of, sometimes I get into a world, but my screen is black. I use a laptop.

Something I've noticed going AMD vs Nvidia is that while my fps is not lower (the 7970 get better fps when I max the resolution) it is choppier. I'm going to put it down to either increased CPU time on the driver side or frame pacing. The only game that feels notably worse is minecraft. The F2P planetside 2 does also but I think I can blame that on recent engine changes there. They've messed up CPU optimizations in the past.
Just some observations.
EDIT: Ooh, shiny diamond member.
Since I have my new GTX 750ti there is an strange graphic bug in the water and on stained glass, BUT only when there is no item in my hand. (all Minecraft/Shader versions) Two Shaders are working perfect: Ziipzaaps Shader and Stazzas, all others have the problem in the picture. There are no other mods installed. With Optifine there is the same problem. The graphic bug is flickering only for protocol
My components: - Intel Core i5 - GTX 750ti (ASUS) - 8G RAM - Windows 8.1
Is my Graphic-Card incomatible or is there a wrong configuration in my system?
PS: Sorry for some grammatical mistakes, I'm from Germany ;D And ask if you need more information about my system or other things.
Yes this is correct and there are another 101 exact and specific circumstances that effect this bug. If you search the SEUS thread for "water bug, water glitch, 750, 750Ti e.t.c.." you will see hundreds of posts from people saying the same, "If I stand at the top of a 132 block mountain made of obsidian and wool with a chicken next to me, the bug goes away"
We have no idea why, all we know is, Nvidia have issues with the 750, 750Ti and a few of the 800m series that use the same architecture. It's either a driver or architectural issue that effects many shaders and a lot of other games, not just Minecraft. With MC shaders it seems to be a reflection issue that the cards can't handle, but in other games it's different.
Hello there, I'm in need of a little assistance. I've tried enabling 3D Volumetric Clouds using SEUS version 10.1. I've followed the exact instructions listed here: http://pastebin.com/f9V3HDwy. I've managed to enable rain puddles, and fix the missing snowfall as well. However, when I copy and paste the code, replacing the file in the SEUS .zip file, saving it, and then starting up Minecraft the volumetric clouds are not present. I don't get any errors, the rain puddles still work and so does the snow fix, it's just the volumetric clouds that are not showing up.
Are the volumetric clouds just too high for me to see them? If so, how do I fix this. I recall having a similar problem a while ago and fixing it, but I don't know how to do it this time. My computer is good enough to handle the shader, I've had no problems with it before. In fact, in the previous version (10.0 of SEUS and version 1.7.5 of Minecraft) I had working Volumetric Clouds. (I have the GLSL Shaders Mod v2.3.19 installed as well just for reference)
In addition to using SEUS I'm also using OptiFine 1.7.10 HD_U_A4, but I've found out that it doesn't really effect anything as even running the shader without Optifine still keeps volumetric clouds from showing up. No other mods except the essential GLSL mod are added.
The regular SEUS clouds are showing up fine (those clouds at the very top of the world). It's just the volumetric clouds that are missing.
I have the regular Minecraft clouds disabled, enabling them doesn't really change anything. Are volumetric clouds just not available for version 1.7.10 of Minecraft? Do I have to use the Ultra version of SEUS? Any help solving this problem is greatly appreciated. I'm willing to supply any other information not listed here to solve the problem.

It does say "optimized." If you use Chromahills, it colors the sky and adds distant clouds, twin moons, etc.
