Congrats this is probably the coolest mod I have seen in MC. Only hate is the color of the sky, but that doesn't matter when you see the awesome shadows. Great job! keep up the good work.

By the way, guys, the color of the sky will be fixed as soon as the sky can be enabled without shadows being rendered on top of them. Yep, it looks pretty terrible with a white sky, if you notice in my screenshots (and some other screenshots) there is indeed a blue sky because I turned it on for the screenshot.
Something very odd is going on with mine and I can't pinpoint the problem. I've looked everywhere for a solution but no one seems to have this problem. I get like a bunch of shaded lines everywhere I go, and the shadows just kinda flicker and move a lot.

Can anyone help me with this?
Hmm, can I ask you a few questions about that issue? A lot of people are getting it... Are the lines always perpendicular to the sun? What video card are you running? Have you updated to the latest drivers?
This must be a discrepancy on how certain video cards handle z-depth, though daxnitro would know more about this than I would. Try posting in his thread (linked in the original post) and see if he can provide any answers! Hope we can get this fixed soon.
Some people have reported that if they run the installer twice, the mod beings to work, where when they had only run it once it didn't work. Also, if you're running Windows 7 or Vista make SURE you run with INSTALLER.exe and that you confirm administrative privileges to the installer (or better yet, go to the Control Panel and disable UAC entirely).

I am on a mac so in order to install mods I have to use archive utility to unpack the .jar. But in order to run the installer I cannot unpack the jar. Except I need to unpack the .jar to install optifine! What do I do? this mods to amazing to not install!

Seems that others using mac have been able to install this mod just fine. Maybe you can extract the entire .zip's contents to a new folder and then run the .jar that way. Anyone else on a mac who can help this guy?
Jeb! JEB! Over here! Yes over here!!! You see that guy? Yeah that one who made that one shader that one time. Yeah him!

They're using the previous version of minecraft. You're most likely on 1.1. You either need to downgrade or wait for the update.
