Please put a video installation. I can instal almost every mod with instructions but this one.
Go to the mod itself's thread (This is a shader set for the mod, the actual mod is linked to in the OP) and I believe there is an installation video there. Otherwise, quite simply, extract the files from the zip you downloaded. Install the Optfine 1.1 preview version. Run the 'Installer.exe' for Windows, 'Installer.jar' for other, hit 'Install Mods' and watch it work its magic. You honestly have to do nothing except install one mod first.
Okay, I just have to say that I really liked what I saw when I tried to use this. Unfortunately, it will only seem to run for about a minute before just going to a black screen.
I shouldn't have any problems with this and I've used Dax Shaders in the past (on 1.0) without issue, so I cannot say what the problem is. I'm running a 6990 with 12.1 drivers...
Of course, when it's updated, I'd love to see this work alongside the Water Shaders. On 1.0, I chose those over GLSL, but if I could get this running with the Water Shaders, it'd be fantastic. Of course, that would entail getting it to run first, I suppose...
Daxnitro (The mod's creator) and Necrowizzard are planning on making the two mods compatible once the Water Shader mod is done with its re-write.
Can you disable the motion blur?
Sorry if it was already posted in the description, but i dont think i saw it.
It should be disabled by default, and you may be thinking of DoF instead.
Go into your Minecraft.jar
Go into the shaders folder within the .jar
Open the final.fsh file
Put a // infront of any #define lines that mention motion blur or DoF. If there is already a // there, then they are already disabled.
After watching CaptainSparklez showcase video of this, I said to my self:
"Can this mod run on my pc?
Hmm, HP Pavilion a730n...2gbs of ram....Nope, Chuck Testa".
Can I get a little help here? This mod simply doesn't work for me, I go in and there are zero shaders. I downloaded the windows version and ran the installer. I've went into the minecraft.jar and saw that there isn't even a shaders folder, so what gives? Am I doing something wrong? I have UAC off, and I've tried installing the shaders from the other thread, but that one doesn't even install a shaders folder. I've made sure the installer is pointing to my minecraft.jar directory. Also, I've deleted META-INF. And I've installed the correct version of Optifine before doing all of this.
Now I got a question. Will this ever support user generated light sources such as glowstone or torches?
I understand that the calculations involved in a LOT of them on one space would be messy for the CPU and GPU, but would there be a way to simplify the dynamic lighting process to give the perception that you're casting dynamic shadows without actually having a metric ****ton of calculations?
One thing that always pissed me off about some games is that they try to include so many calculations in dynamic lighting, yet only a handful of them were really perceivable.
Due to popular demand, I'm going to make the next release (hopefully) a lot less heavy and allow for acceptable performance on mid range systems. At which point I'll include some "download dis if u a pimp" configs that have more demanding shaders and will even bring the best systems below 60 fps.
I also just found a fix for the random blackness on objects (flowers, bed, zombie shirts, etc.) and so the new update will include that as well.
Thanks to daxnitro, he's improved how the shadow map tracks the player. No more flickering when walking around.
I'm just wrapping this up, keep checking back for updates!
Oh, and thanks a TON for helping each other out with this mod! This really is a fantastic community!
when its night i do have really big problems, like u can't see anything and everything is really weird and like all pure black with some shining parts in it..

Heres my PC Spex As First:
CPU: Intel Core i3 M370 @ 2.40 GHz / 2.40 GHz,
RAM: 3.50 GB (%90 Usable),
System Type: 64 Bit Windows 7
Graphics: ATI Radeon Premium Graphics
And My PC is On Its Lowest Speed. Game is lower that 7 FPS.
Anything to upgrade or replace?
Hmm.. odd. You might want to try extracting the zip to your Desktop and disabling UAC in the control panel. Also make sure you don't have any antivirus services running when you try to install.
I did wonder about something like this, but I don't think it has to do with permissions - when I double click the installer.exe, I tell the system to allow the program to run.

When you've run the installer, click "View log" and post the results. You might be having the same issue as me (ie. "adt not found").

(10/5/15) If you want to have a laugh, go look at some of my posts from back in ~2010 ( i was 10/11 what can i say)
(02/12/21) cannot believe i still play this game

I was one of the ones that was getting the striped shadow lines and the buggy shadows everywhere, with the 1.0 update.
All I have to say is... if you have a graphics card that's maybe a little less than a year old, definitely update the drivers. Holy crap lol
Perfect. And I love the motion blur!!

here i made a test record for your shader
Not sure how I was able to correct my skin issue.

What I'm getting is essentially this:
I tried Speeshul's fix:
However, unfortunately I get exactly the same error (the 1.0.0 is highlighted, not 1.1.0) with daxnitro's GLSL installer as I do with this one.
Mine is just all yellow and green with little bit of shadows.
