I downloaded SEUS Renewed and am loving everything except the Motion Blur. I've found some old tutorials on how to turn it off, but it seems the code has changed. It's making me nauseous to play, so can someone help me turn it off? Thanks in advance!
Hi there people! I have a few questions that I didn't found the answers in the comments.
1. I'm using SEUS Renewed. Everything working fine except...where are the Presets option? I don't see them anywhere. I have a good enough GPU, but my friends with laptops don't. They wanna change presets, but we all can't find out how.
2. Is there to enable DOF? I'm really...really...really...into DOF. In games as well as in my photography and even drawings :D...so is there a way?
3. Is there a way to add SUN SHAFTS? It was so good when you see the sun through a tree and the shafts shine through the leaves. So is there a way to enable that? Also...why is the sun a biiig white blur xD
4. What happened to the realistic, random generated volumetric clouds? Those 2D ones are..okay...ish, but if you really have the PC...why not have to option to turn volumetric clouds on? I prefer a 10-20 FPS hit...just to have all the things I've listed so far. Cuz...we lower our FPS with shaders, to make the game look better...right? Then...why make exceptions? I know there's people with low end PCs, that's good...so just make some kind of choice for people with High End PC's that want DOF, Sun Shafts, Volumetric Clouds and so on.
Oh and one more thing...SEUS Renewed is kinda...blueISH...I would like a more warmer colours...is there a way to Config that?
And btw, I support a few people on Patreon...SEUS will be the next ;D
Have you looked at other shaders? Others like continuum or BSL shaders have all these effects your after so maybe give them a try until these make a return to SEUS renewed.
Wait...SEUS renewed HAS SSAO...but On/Off doesn't seem to make a difference. What's wrong here?
You aren't looking hard enough. Look at some grass outside in a shaded area and then switch it on and off. Zooming will help show the difference as well.
Right you are ma man! But...I'm a big fan of SEUS, he started all this...or even if he wasn't the first, he's the guy who popularize it! He's a very nice guy and I would love to support his work. Also...people like Continuum charge BUG bucks for their work...like...Continuum 2 + Pulchra above 128x is 50$ :D...I mean...dafuk?
Buuuut...even after all that, it would be really ignorant and stupid for me NOT to try something else...just to see, so yeah, I will.
The intention of my question tho still remains. Can we do that in SEUS? At least...how can I change the presets: low/high/extreme?
Yeah continuum 2.0 does cost money at the moment but will be free once it gets a full release, however continuum 1.3 is out now for free. It will take a fair bit to get custom presets if they are not already there back into SEUS renewed, it’s not a simple line change within the code I’m sorry to say. I can say for sure that continuum 1.3 has SSAO as well as HBAO that can be enabled in the shader options.
does anyone know how to edit brightness levels (in my case i wanna make it so that lava isnt as bright and that if im in completely dark i can still c something aka base brightness)?
i know in SEUS v11 you could go to the file called composite1 in the pack, go to line 2929 and change it there but it isnt there in the remake version. Can some1 tell me where i can find it?
This guy is all you need for that. If the lines he says aren't right, just use ctrl+f to search for the text you want to change, you can see it in the video
I changed a few levels myself, not just brightness but also water fog etc thanks to those videos

There should be an option to turn it off (or at least I have one?)
That's exactly what I did man :/ I had to make sure I can't see a difference before posting here. I even looked at images of minecraft with AO to be 100% sure I know what AO even tho I work with 3D and I am 200% sure what it is :D. I noticed it cuz I was looking at a mountain with the scope zoome (C I think) and was like "why...does this soo...flat...unrealistic and wrong...what's WRONG with it damn it" and then I found out.
Here's the images of SSAO on and off with zoom, do you see any difference EXCEPT the slight time of day change.
EDIT: ya know what...I'll find out how to edit the settings of SEUS and try do something myself
The SSAO sees itself only in the dark corners to give a more realistic side, in the lighted corner it is normal that there is nothing at all
I'm guessing there's no easy way to convert to this system? or to get SEUS to act like before when dealing with such textures?
I am not very good with shaders and cant seem to fix the problem everything is solid colors that look really bad.
Check your own screenshot, it has a flood of errors, you are most likely using integrated graphics. You can't use SEUS (or most shaders) with those.
I dont really know what that means :/
You (probably) don't have a dedicated GPU, no dedicated GPU, no fancy shaders, you may need to get a better computer for this.
Why does this kind of stuff happen, both with the new and old shaders?
There is nothing there, it's just empty void.
Also, why is everything in the renewed version so blurry? Is that on purpose or is my gpu (970) just too weak?
what is the name of the resource pack on the screenshots? x2
R3D Craft with POM pack
Hello, need a bit of help
I tried searching the thread but I didn't find (or overlooked sorry) what I needed
My problem:
Not using smooth lighting leave a very blocky ugly lighting
But using smooth lighting leaves me with ugly black-flickering banners
You can see what I mean in the joined pictures. This is supposed to be the basic, full white banner
I'm not afraid to edit the shader file if needed to correct this mess
So if anyone knows how to solve this
thanks a ton
My first question is does this happen without the resource pack?
Yes it does
I forgot to mention but I did try, with no resource packs, or with any resource pack, it does it
I also have this problem, and in certain conditions it happens with player heads too.
Waht's version of Seus you use? and does an error appear in the tchat?

Still waiting for help for my own bug
