I'm having an issue with glass, where if a fully transparent glass block touches a water block it turns glowing white where the blocks meet. It might also be an issue with my texture pack as well, but I'm not sure
Can some body please explain why i keep getting lag although i have allocated huge amounts of ram? also i get these white lines in the sky on nighttime
Specs
Graphics card: Nvidia GTX Geforce 970
Ram: HyprXFury 8 gb
Stop allocating so much RAM. Minecraft isn't a magical piece of software that somehow gets more FPS using RAM, it doesn't work that way. Allocating more RAM almost always makes the game run slower.
Hey, will SEUS ever be working on Mac? I have to stick to other shaders right now.
I'm sorry to say but the answer will most likely be no it will never be working with mac's as that SEUS is a more complex shader that the Mac pc's just can't handle. I think there are work arounds to get the lite/low version of seus to work but as for the full experience of seus it just won't happen for Mac's. I have heard of people that have partitioned there hard drive on their Mac and had windows installed on one partition and the Mac OS on the other and as long as your Mac has a good video card like a nvidia card doing this might get it working.

From the first post of the Shaders Mod which you should have read:
- Java heap size This can be set in Minecraft Launcher - Edit Profile - JVM Arguments -Xmx1024M or -Xmx1G is usually enough. 2048M is plenty, depending on render distance and mods. Don't set it too high. ShadersMod and OpenGL requires a lot of memory outside java heap. Make sure you have enough memory remaining outside java heap.

The best RP for Shaders IS ChromaHills. Both SEUS and Shaders Mod have a few bugs.
RP needs to support Shaders with proper texture maps. (Glowing spiders is an example.)
Could someone give me a few guidelines how to backport the day/night cycle fix from the 10.2 preview back to 10.1 for personal use? I understand quite a bit of the code but it's a bit time consuming to sift through it all.
Weird, I remember having this issue as well. I think it had something to do with another mod, or I was using Java 8. Try removing all your other mods first, if it still does it, try it with Java 7. (You're gonna have to torrent it. They stopped releasing anything older than Java 8 to the public for some dumb reason.)
Sorry if neither of these work. I had the same issue but totally forgot what caused it.
If you don't know your graphics card, or how to get to it, I assume you don't have one, or you have a laptop with integrated graphics. Integrated graphics will not run SEUS. Go to start, open "run", type "dxdiag" and go. It'll tell you if you have a graphics card under "Device" when you go under the "Display 1" tab.
I searched this entire thread an no one seems to have the same problem as me. For some reason, in 1.8.8 this shader does weird things with the durability bar. Notice in my inventory, they are all black except one. On my hotbar however they are all there, which is really weird. Also, when I hover over items for the description the description background is completely transparent so there's just floating words. Any help with this? I understand SEUS isn't technically ready for 1.8.8 but hey, it's pretty close.
The Shaders Mod requires a bit of configuration and knowledge to use properly. This mod is used to power "shaderpacks[/b]" and is useless without them.

guys- is it just me or are the shaders not supposed to work with night vision? I've tried every shaders (including this one) and night vision makes absolutely no change to the brightness of my vision. Is this normal??

Chunks will load much slower with high-end shaders enabled, especially if your specs aren't that great.

No fix currently as far as I'm aware.
I do have a great mac, and it can run SEUS on bootcamp, but I really don't want to boot into a different partition just for shaders.
Your Graphics Card Doesnt Support it.
Can you list ur Specs?

Is it possible that you explain what anisotropic filtering is? Big thanks anyways
