Are they supposed to be like this? I used SEUS a long time ago, but I don't recall it being so bright. Also, outside seems to have a very high bloom. Am I doing something wrong?
I've just recently installed SEUS yesterday without a single problem. But today when i logged on, I got quite a few strange occurrences. I noticed that some wool blocks I had placed were swaying like the leaves and there was large invisible gaps in them. Also I noticed that my water is all flickering, I have read numerous posts on thrying to fix this but to no prevail. Does anybody have any ideas on these two isses?
For the water, some things Ive tried is:
Update gfx drivers (I have Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti)
Reinstall both MC and GLSL and SEUS.
Tried changing line 78 of 'gbuffers_water.vsh' to normal = normalize(gl_NormalMatrix * (gl_Normal /*+ vec3(displaceDelta * 0.5f, 0.0f)*/));
Hey guys just stopping by to show you all what I've been doing with the shaders, I spent about 4 days working on this and I feel pretty satisfied with its quality haha
Here's a video showing off the lighting
Took me a while to get everything working but I've figured out what bump mapping and specular lighting does and started playing around with it and ended up with this
Here are a few screenshots:
Thanks to some really awesome Modders for helping me modify SUES V10.1 shaders, It allowed me to create specular lighting which allows dynamic reflections, not just on water, but for every block light bounces on as well (took soooo long to create a specular for each texture, but it was worth it.) It looks great honestly, I don't think there is much else I can improve on here. Anyway, I hope to see SUES updated soon and hopefully with Global Illumination and a lot of other new lighting.

im just curious about this but how many fps will I get if I use a Nvidia GTX Titan?

Post the download link man, it's so increrible And you are in the original SEUS topic, so it is kind of 50% their credits. Post the shader pack and the texture pack. if you dont want to, could you please send me by e-mail? i really want to try out.

If I could then I would share it with everyone, but its illegal to upload SUES's files, especially if its modified. BTW I'm using the Chromahills texture pack modified to my liking, I didn't like most of the blocks in there so I replaced a few with my own and added in Specular Mapping.
Also I am running this on a GTX 970 with an i7-4770k processor, with 8gbs of RAM. I get around 45-95 frames depending on where I am. Is it possible to get minecraft to fully run on my GPU?
Best thing to do right now is wait for SUES to update the shaders, most likely what I have done now he has done 5x better

Correct me if I am wrong, but couldn't you post the mods you made to the files? (Also ask the creator of Chromahills if you could redistribute the specular maps and such.)
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
If someone in an S class cuts me off, I don't get upset. He obviously has important things to do. Now, someone in a Toyota? We're fighting.
These forums are dumb and break my links. I'm bubbleawsome on steam too.

Minecraft is heavily CPU based, built on java code. Shaders is almost all on the GPU, but is VERY heavy on it. 45-95 frames is what to expect on that GPU. Try lowering the render distance to 8 if you havn't already.

You can tell people HOW to edit the code, you just can't post any of his code.
I love this shader mod but there are a few things I would like to tweak myself. I think shadows are a bit too dark. Torches give off too little light. Spiders seem to glow O.o How can I tweak/fix these things? (using latest version, standard.)
You can tweak the lighting using the SEUS fixes link in my signature. The glowing spiders and enderman is a bug.

From watching his video and looking at the screen shots im certain that this is my modified SEUS shader that I like to work on the side next to my own Super Shader.
Is it possible to hack those together? How would I do it? I tried moving gbuffers_Water.vsh/.fsh into the lite zip, but that didn't work.

If you're looking into buying one, don't. They are less powerful than a 970, at triple the price. Pick up a 970 if you don't have one already.

No sorry the texture pack is ChromaHills :-) can tell from the glowstones
Oh sorry

Tweaking Shadows, Torches and glowing Spiders?
HI
I love this shader mod but there are a few things I would like to tweak myself.
I think shadows are a bit too dark.
Torches give off too little light.
Spiders seem to glow O.o
How can I tweak/fix these things?
(using latest version, standard.)
Force "Disable" Anisotropic Filtering in your Nvidia or AMD Control Panel.
You can tweak the lighting using the SEUS fixes link in my signature. The glowing spiders and enderman is a bug.
