I just tried this mod, and the nether looks much to dark. I can barely see the ceiling, but when I remove the bedrock level on top, it's like the sun would be shining in there.

I get a wierd noise effect everytime I look around or move

I had a thought. Would it be possible to add a toggle for the shaders? That way, you can go from using the shaders in game play and switching them off when you're in Creative Mode to build things.

2. Press "f2"

Guys, please check out the Tweaks section in the original post. There are lots of things you can adjust in final.fsh and composite.fsh that will fix/address your specific needs. Motion blur can be disabled in final.fsh for those who don't like it.

If your motion blur is broken/corrupted, find this line in final.fsh:

		if (blurmask > 0.999999) {
			velocity = vec2(0,0);
		}

And comment it out like so:

/*
		if (blurmask > 0.999999) {
			velocity = vec2(0,0);
		}
*/

"/*" is how you initiate a comment that will be ignored, and "*/" is how you close it. This section of code is used to prevent motion blur being rendered on the player's hand, but it looks like it causes issues with some people.

This version is darker than the previous version because some people were complaining about it being too bright, but that's an easy fix by editing "#define BRIGHTMULT 1.1" (in final.fsh) to a higher value. There are other attributes around this parameter that can adjust the overall colors such as COLOR_BOOST, GAMMA, and DARKMULT. Feel free to adjust these until you're happy with the way Minecraft looks.

For those who are hurting for performance, disable SSAO by opening composite.fsh and adding "//" to the beginning of any line that defines SSAO or attributes for it at the top of the file.



I'm currently experimenting with a way to fix dull light sources, although I'm not sure how much it will break shadows or not. I may have to consult daxnitro about this.

The new 1.8 lighting was awesome but you have just crushed 's lighting and made your own awesome one.

Shaders seem to work well for Sunlight...

Love the mod but I keep having to turn it off because artificial lighting gets botched =(

Would anyone happen to know if there is a way to disable your own shadow? It kinda breaks the mood when flying about and you see your own derpy shadow stroll into view. :tongue.gif: Checked the thread/wiki/google and haven't turned anything up, perhaps I overlooked it. Thanks!

As you can see, the waving leaves caused these...


Is there anyway I can fix this? Or at least disable the waving leaves?

Umm I really love this mod but everytime I try to use it my game does this thing where black dots are every where and there are black lines.

That file location is on your computer not the internet, no one can see it. You will have to upload the image somewhere then post that link.

Also, does anyone know how to disable waving leaves? They just end up having gaps everywhere on the seems.

I'm getting this white line across my screen D= Any Help?!
