Added SEUS v10 RC6 shaderpack.zip to my shaderpacks file and it seems to be almost working, I can see trees moving, etc but everything is now extremely dark.

Stepped down to v8 and it seems to be working fine now.
Whenever I run version10 I get an error:
"[Shaders] Error: Invalid program final"

Have you installed Optifine and the ShadersMod in the correct order? There seems to be a lot of it going around
Optifine always goes first (unless Forge the queue jumper turns up, then he goes first)
Along with Eskimo's point, which is likely the cause...
Because you are using a mac, you are 99% likely to be running an Intel Graphics chip of some variant.
Make sure if you are using Chocapic's to unzip his V3.RAR to your shaderpacks directory, but delete all of the new folders except v3-lite & v3-low. You don't need med/high/ultra or the glsl shaders he includes in his pack..
I finally got myself a system that can run shaders, and it looks just fabulous...outdoors. Indoors the caves get a strange tint as if I was wearing those yellow sun glasses indoors. When I stand just inside the entrance to a cave, looking into the cave it's dark and tinked, and turning around to look out (in sunny weather) the outside is so bright I can't see anything clearly.
I have my brightness at 100%. Now if I turn it down to Moody, then the whole cave is like I'm seeing it through a water tank.
I'd really love to use shaders for the outside. But exploring underground with the shaders on is very uncomfortable. Is there anyway to adjust for this?
I installed Optifine_1.5.2_HD_U_D3, then i installed the ShadersModSE-mc1.5.2-ofud3-1.46 RC2. but when I load up a save file and turn on M3 (found in SEUS' sugarsync) nothing seems to happen, and I have no clue as to why.
You got the shaders in the right place? If you put them into the shaderpacks folder, you either need an M3 folder with a shaders folder inside that and the shader files inside that, or you put the M3 zip into the shaderpacks folder, but make sure that the zip has a shaders folder which contains the shader files.
oh...before all i did was zip up the shader files themselves and not the entire folder. thank you, it worked.
One more thing. with M3 shader pack, does anyone else have the problem where if you look down at the ground all the shadows disappear, and when it turns to night the entire horizon gets all white and lit up. the picture are found here: http://imgur.com/a/PiszW
I need help. on step 5 do we make the shaderpacks file? because its not there, and i tried making one, but nothing. then i used it as a texture pack and nothings happening

You know these are just quickly put together demos to show off new features right? That's why they don't even have proper water.
You're supposed to go "Oooo pretty!!" then go back to your everyday textures.
I'm quite liking the M3 release. At least it has water this time!
The bloom, and angle of the shadows is much more fluent as opposed to the jumping shadows with the sun overhead.
My only complaints so far are that the water goes green at night, and at sunrise/sunset everything is vibrant white. I guess normally (in real life) the sun kind of looks like that when it first comes up, but it's quite harsh. After it is 5% up, everything is back to normal for the duration of the day. If he could get the red/orange/purple sunsets, that would be incredible!

Yeah, my main desktop is an AMD system, and my notebook doesn't have enough horsepower to run L2. I can get 10 fps at 1024x578 (or whatever it is) but as soon as I put the HUD on, it drops to 3 fps..

I downloaded everything ok I got the right shaders and optifine but it wont let me on my account by saying: Error connecting to server on the Magic Launcher it also says in the setup that i have a modified minecraft.jar anyone know what that means?

Hello everybody, I have a problem I would like to ask you guys how to fix it. I've followed all of the instructions that were provided and the mod doesn't seem to work for me; it just looks like the original Minecraft. Please help.
A modified minecraft.jar means that at some point you've opened it up and either added or removed something from it.
Probably a good idea if you force and update and start again with a clean version of 1.5.2
A pic of your MagicLauncher config might be useful as well

In composite.fsh look for #define TORCHLIGHT_POWER and increase the value.
To get rid of the black water, click the link in my signature, then go to my shared folder, download the "Lightmaps to get rid of RC7 black water" and put them into the environment folder of whatever texture pack you're using

Edit gbuffers_terrain.vsh and comment (\\) out the lines #define waving_grass and #define waving_leaves..

Edit: To cut it short, you can't fix it unless you used different shaders.

I just checked out your Skydrive acct, and it's there. Just change the layout to a detailed list, and sort it by modified. Much easier ;)!
