However, do you know of a DoF mod that I can add to this one (now that I have it working perfectly.), there was one, but I believe it's heavily outdated.
I still can NOT get Anti-Aliasing to work, not even with the suggestion on page 72ish editing the .fsh files. Optifine's AntiAliasing setting works without the shaders mod installed, but once you install the shaders mod it just reverts to off, and no form of AA works. MLAA doesn't work when forced (AMD card, HD7850), and the other AA settings only work for Direct3D, not OpenGL, as far as I can tell.
Please tell me you have a solution Eskimo, because even full screen at 1980x1050, the jagged edges make the entire game look grainy and ugly, even with maxed MipMapping. I can just not use the shaders, but then I don't get pretty lens flares, water, the warm vibrant coloring from the particular shader pack I'm using, shadows, nothin'
Hey, just curious, (I haven't got my new computer that's good enough to run SEUS) do torches, glowstone, Jack o' Lanterns, etc. cast shadows as well? Or, if not, are there any shader packs that do have that feature? The only shaders I've had the specs to try are Chocapic's low and lite water, which only have shadows cast from the sun or the moon. If the answer is no, that's alright I don't care this mod is still cool as sh-t, but it would be nice to know before I go and buy my new computer.

If someone in an S class cuts me off, I don't get upset. He obviously has important things to do. Now, someone in a Toyota? We're fighting.
These forums are dumb and break my links. I'm bubbleawsome on steam too.
I'm pretty sure I covered this somewhere else but of course I can't find it so I'll have to type the whole bloody thing out again.
With the current lighting system the shaders need to know the position of the sun at all times in order to accurately calculate the shadows which would be cast from it. Now imagine needing the same code for 100 light sources, or 1000, all needing accurate positional data, all needing to calculate what effect any other light source would have on it's shadows, and all needing to be updated whenever you place or destroy a light.
You would need a supercomputer to keep track of it all.
Alright well just wondering, sorry.

If your having issues with Framerates, try a less demanding/more optimized shader pack.
Chocapic has 5 levels of his latest V3 (lite, low, medium, high, ultra)..
Sildur has a few versions, one designed for Intel chips, anyone should be able to run that one ;)!
Point is, it's not the GLSL Shaders that kill your system, is the intensity of the shaderpack that controls GLSL..
Hi i downloaded all the required things and my fps is 1-2 when my fps for minecraft is usually 30-50 why is that? I tried Optifine 1.5.2 Ultra D3 with The Shaders mod And it only gives me 1-2 fps. Is it my 1.5.2 version of minecraft or is it my computer?
sorry if it has been asked before but i couldn't find a good way to do this, but is there a way to make the water blue instead of fully clear? Thanks great mod!

This is very typical of the GLSL Shaders. It completely depends on your video card, and your shader pack.
What video card is in your machine? It is likely integrated Intel with those frame rates..

There are 2 ways to do it in SEUS:
A} Edit final.fsh with Microsoft Wordpad (not Notepad!), seach for 'Darken Objects Behind Water' and change the 1.0f numbers for color.r, color.g, color.b to something lower. Eskimo's advice is to change them all to 0.5f, and then tweak them to change the colors according to what you prefer. Just make a change, save it, click off the shaderpack (select internal), and then click back onto it again.
B} Leave the final.fsh alone, and use Eskimo's custom lightmap. Just copy the 3 files from his ZIP into your texture pack under the Environment folder.

thanks! tried it but dint work for me. Its ok tho, no big deal
Make sure clear water is turned on in the options -> video -> quality settings (part of optifine).
I have mine set to something like 0.3f, 0.7f, and 1.1f (for r / g / b respectively). Gives a blue/green tint, with more of a blue hue. I ran into a problem at first because I was looking at ice blocks, instead of water. Took me a second to figure out why it was cloudy, and then I clued into I was standing on it, not floating (creative mode :P). Just sharing wisdom ;).
In order to use the changes, you have to click off of SEUS 10 RC7 to internal/none, and then back again.
Added SEUS v10 RC6 shaderpack.zip to my shaderpacks file and it seems to be almost working, I can see trees moving, etc but everything is now extremely dark.
EDIT:
Stepped down to v8 and it seems to be working fine now.
Whenever I run version10 I get an error:
"[Shaders] Error: Invalid program final"
it seems to be running but everything is extremely dark.
is it possible to make deep water less dark? when water is a few blocks it all looks great but if its too deep its too dark and the water just looks black. Also, is there a way to make torches brighter?, they almost make no difference for me, at least not against wood..
In composite.fsh look for #define TORCHLIGHT_POWER and increase the value.
To get rid of the black water, click the link in my signature, then go to my shared folder, download the "Lightmaps to get rid of RC7 black water" and put them into the environment folder of whatever texture pack you're using

I'm using Ovo's Rustic. In 1.4.7 it had it, but now in 1.5.2 there isn't any. Would they have changed that?
Alright well just wondering, sorry.

If it is, don't worry. It just limits your usable shaderpacks to sildur's pc/mac/intel, or maybe chocapic's v3 lite/low.

I'm running Minecraft 1.5.2 on my iMac.
I have installed ShadersMod-mc1.5.2-ofud3-1.46
and OptiFine_1.5.2_HD_U_D3
and they seem to be working fine...
I downloaded SEUS v10 RC7 Ultra.zip
and whenever I go in to shaders.... in the options and click on SEUS v10 RC7 Ultra.zip, nothing seems to change in game.
am I retarded? what going on?

thanks so much for the help!
