hey everyone, I wanted to know if anyone knows if these villagers are just supposed to spawn in villages? I'm currently on 1.5.1 because some mods haven't updated yet, but I'm getting villagers spawning all over the place, as if they were a neutral mob (even underground I have villagers spawning and saying hello lol) I'm not sure what's causing this in our smp world but could it be an issue with mo creatures custom spawner? I also have millenaire installed, dungeon mobs, metallurgy 3 beta (I think) and primitive mobs and mob spawn controls... but I am not sure what might be causing the issue.. has anyone else had this happen?
Mo Creatures Custom Spawner allows you to change the mob spawning type of a mob. You may have accidentally changed the spawning type of the villagers to Neutral of Hostile. Check the villager spawning with the Custom Spawner and see if you have changed the mob spawning type. Also check your other mob spawning control mods.

Hey! This looks like a great mod but I'm having some trouble with it. Whenever I go near a village, I can see what the villagers are saying but they don't appear for me. I can even see doors opening and closing from them but they are not there. The only villagers that do spawn are guards.

the thing is that the time that my friend had the baby is static , on the other hand mine is running flawlessly . the manual solution is set the ready to grow "true" via config text file editing

I found a way to fix the switching identities bug. Go to the config file in .minecraft. Go to MCA. Go to "Worlds" and select the world that has the problem. Go to either player's file and open "WorldProps" and change the player ID. It should be fixed.

WildBamaBoy i have a suggestion if you could find a way to script this maybe you could find a way to make them see what you say and they reply back it would be better than random chatting in the GUI and gifting diamonds to get a wife and have it to where you can take them on dates and have a real chat with them it would really make this mod have a more real life feel to it isn't this why you created the mod? and it would have a romantic feel to it as well like people who are going through puberty (like me) they are missing love in their lives and this would help now i don't expect you to reply back or to actually make it happen but to me it is a great idea and would be awesome if you added it. here is some diamonds for reading this post : D

The mod works almost perfectly, the only problem is that I can only have 4 children.
When I'm trying to have the fifth, I don't get a communicate "your baby is ready to grow up" though I wait for hour or so and nothing works: clicking the ground, giving it to priest, adopting etc. nothing.
I have everything updated to latest version.
I tried several worlds and it's always the same, I have to stop breeding after 4th child. Lol is that some environment saving policy?
I'd appreciate any advise.
PS Also I chose not to allow them grow up automatically and i don't see any "grow up" option.
try the manual edit of the mca file on config (worlds) and set ready to grow true

can you change the ai for guards to attack any mob that attacks them or the villagers cause the bigcat in mo creatures just kills them and they dont do anything about it
I need help with this one. I have installed hundreds of mods before this so I know basically how to install mods. (At the moment this is the only mod I have) I did exactly as the instalation video said and when I start my game I need to pick my gender and name but the villagers stay squidward and I cant interact with them.
Whenever I die, the two buttons for Respawn and Back to Main Menu show up. There used to be a delay, in which these were grayed out to prevent clicking on them after fighting. But it's gone now. There's no delay.
I use about 60+ mods (plan on getting more, cause I'm that crazy), have been doing this for quite some time, and I tried to install mods one by one just to make sure I would found the guilty, and it was MCA. This is not really a surprise. I imagine there is something about the Hardcore Respawning part that probably does this. Or maybe I'm wrong about that, I don't know.
The point remains that MCA removes the delay in those buttons, and I keep disconnecting most times I lose a fight due to insane clicking being a good battle tactic. And this saddens me, because I really like this mod.
I checked the config and there's nothing to tweak it there as well. Is it possible that you take a look at this, pal? Am I the only one plagued by this? Or just the only one bothered by it?

MCA does open up a "copy" of the game over menu, if you would call it that. But the copy does not delay. I'll make sure to fix this.

I can't reproduce this. Are you on single player, LAN, or a server?
I will try to make skins for the mod this weekend. Also some small ideas, it would be nice if you could actually establish a friend relation with villagers, because when villagers become your "friends" they only greet you differently. It seems that unless you want to marry a villager, it’s hard to have any other relation with villagers.
Maybe they could say things like "let’s go on an adventure", give you gifts sometimes, or get angry when something attacks you and defend you. And if a friend died then you get a tombstone (or at least a message). I guess villagers that like you could also get preoccupied if you are injured and might give you things like food.
I love this mod but sometimes the villagers are so indifferent to you it seems they're not that different from testificates, only children seem to actually like you. But i also understand this might not relate with the mod's objective or it might be hard to script. After all the mod is already a great mod.
If you dislike the idea i would only like to know why, to understand what kind of suggestions actually help the mod's development.
I do like your ideas and agree a more fleshed out "friend" status is needed. It wouldn't be hard to do code-wise, but I'm not very good at coming up with dialogue.
