Its a awesome mod but i really don't understand mods (I'm a noob when it comes to mod downloading i only know how to download ftb modpacks) so can anyone help me out??? lol
Umm never mind I read the changelog I'll wait for an update when bama can rework the monarch system but i have bug at first I thought it was because of optifine but i removed it and it still apears like this and by it I mean the tombstone and whistle have missing textures is there a fix for this?
any one know how to move the villagers home point?? my son married a villagers and i want her to move into my house
but every night she always return sleeping in her own bed
also my villagers always dying every morning inWall when i put the bed in corner

Seconded: Villagers die from simply trying to get into their bed at night.
Also agree with moving villager home point; it seems like villagers are all restricted to a small radius of operations centered on the middle building in town, and cannot even reach the houses at the edge of the default town without invoking some sort of ReturnToTown type AI. It would be a lot of help if assigning "this is your new home" relocated the villager's center of operations.
I get the feeling like there are two variables at play, with perhaps one of them as part of the base class.
Is there a way to reduce or disable villager auto breeding in the 1.7.10 version? We had an incident where someone put a chunk loader in a village, forgot about it, then had pretty nasty lag from the hundreds of villagers that resulted. Lots of fun raising our own kids, however.
but i have read it should be in german...but for me is english. My Gamessetting is german...the mod english....can i change the language in some way? Im play only Singleplayer.
I've heard about people complaining that the inventory textures for rose gold and rose gold blocks were not working but not that the tombstone and whistles have missing textures as well. Which version are you using?

Im using the newest 1.7.10 version and my children keep disappearing when i leave for a few minutes the wife is still there and the house is surrounded by fence and iron doors as well as lit properly any ideas?
Heyo! I absolutely love this mod. I saw it a long time ago and never got around to trying it, but dang it's the best! But anyway, I got a lil bit of a bug. The villagers seem to enjoy getting stuck in large holes in the village, and then somehow more spawn? It causes this horrible lag and 20 or 30 can clump together in these holes, or even in a random, flat area. It's very strange. And another small thing, with gay marriage pff. It isn't a bug, but I get together with my wife, and I select female when I set down the orb and blah, but we can still have a child through procreation. And when I talk to my child, she refers to her other mommy as daddy. Just a small thing though! Sorry if this came off as rude, or this has already been addressed!
anyone know if the villagers will still spawn in mystcraft ages set to not spawn monsters?
i honestly really liked this mod, couldn't find a way to fix that so i had to remove it though.

i keep making the same mistake, i think "oh, i've given them a few months, surely it'll be fixed by now" THAT is why i seem to ALWAYS be angry to some of you, my advice is to get the lead out.
there were nice things here, until the mod author threw a tantrum.

Watch them, I suggest opening a LAN world and having either a friend or sibling watch them to see what happens.

The reason why it's so buggy is because v5 was the biggest update ever. It's more different than the other updates, so WildBama is still working on bugs and fixing up the new features. I bet v6 will be better.

So, after playing some more with the mod, I think I've come up with a few suggestions on the villagers to expand them a little that you might find interesting. It actually brings into play choice of gifts.
As many people know, when courting someone or trying to gain their interest, gifts can not only go a long way towards this, but the gift type can set a mood.
This got me thinking. Ok, giving a girl food is like taking her to dinner. Not a bad idea, right? But what of things like flowers or jewelry? Redstone dust might not be romantic, but when giving a girl something like a flower (based on their personality type) might put her in a more romantic mood, increasing the chances of success of being rewarded with a kiss, or bonus to your flirting. And if her mood is bad, but you have a good number of hearts (say 5 red or more) a hug might go to improve her mood, by showing your sensitivity and comfort.
Of course, as we know in MCA, there are different villager personality types. Perhaps different kinds of gifts might have this effect? For instance guards would appreciate a weapon. A sensitive or witty girl might appreciate a flower. A practical, peaceful, confident villager might appreciate food gifts more.
As much as I like most of this mod, while interactions are great for boosting rep, beyond that they seem to serve very little other purpose. As such, with such a lower chance I am actually loathe to attemp to kiss, flirt, or hug a girl I am courting in the game, let alone if I marry her. The procreation bit is nice, but I was hoping to see also the fruits of one's labor (not just the family one births) to be something more towards enjoying. That is, perhaps a kiss, flirt, or hug might be locked until you hit a certain reputation level with the villager. And they go up with the number of gold hearts had, with a bonus from the mood. And once married, you have at least a 75 to 80% chance of a kiss, flirt, or hug working. Obviously, subject to diminishing returns each use. And perhaps, things like flowers might go towards boosting this chance (instead of how each and every interaction's % declines each time you interact.)
I suppose the idea is actually to allow the kiss, hug, and flirt to be treated more like... a reward? Not so much as a reputation gaining tool. After all, if they are going to have children with me, I'm sure she'd love a kiss or two first, at least! And a hug after! And maybe a flirt to know that I find her attractive even after popping out 20 babies.
As always, love the mod, great work especially considering how much 1.8 had the villagers overhauled! Still my favorite and one I will not play MC without, ever. I know there's a lot of working being done also to debug things, and I am grateful just to have a working copy for 1.8. As always, my feedback is with the intent to be helpful and constructive, and should not in any way shape or form be taken as unfriendly or vicious criticism.
I would love to hear back what you think of the idea, of course should you have time.
[Villager death when going to bed] is caused by the height of some villagers being greater than the size of the bed. If you put that bed in a corner, it's a given that villagers that are taller than 2 blocks (2m) suffocate in the wall.
Is there a config option to force villager height to be less than 2 meters?
Umm, I've never heard of any bug report like that. I personally don't use Mystcraft so I don't know. Try it out.
yeah, you have, last time i tried to use this mod, the villagers spawned in a no mobs (supposedly no peaceful spawns either) mystcraft void age and if not for my putting up turrets to kill them caused crippling lag (sheer numbers) to the server i'd still be using it.
you probably just forgotten about it by now, it was a while ago.
otherwise i'd still be using the mod, i liked it a lot.

MCA in a nutshell
.. kinda annoying how the just massively gather in 1 house and spaz towards it even when you put them on "follow me"
Really hope for future moar dynamic life for them.. aging, dying, moving out, diseases, more causes of deaths etc...
Aside from that I like this mod Gotta have my waifus
