Hi! I'm playing on the latest update and enjoying it a lot. But, as I attempted to become engaged with another villager, she rejected me saying it was because I already had a spouse. Well, I don't because I just started this world a few days ago, I picked the "I live alone" destiny and I am playing with a few other mods as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks so much!
um... i dont see any villagers. im running 1.12.2, and all i see is villager's lines. i tried spawn eggs, did not work, tried /summon, did not work. i think it's a bug.
The problem I'm having right now is inconsistent profession tag with the true trading options villagers have. I tested it on existing world and newly generated world, but in both cases, villagers have wrong professions that do not correspond to the trading options ("Shepard" is actually "Cleric", "farmer" is actually "Shepard" etc.) Is this a problem for anyone else?
Since I know you guys aren't actively working on the 1.7.10 version anymore, this is more of a "can anyone help?" post than an actual bug, but it's driving me MENTAL. None of my MCA villagers are able to open any modded doors. The generic "wooden door" is fine on either side of the 'doorway,' and the one time I attempted an iron door with pressure plates they did well enough, but anything else might as well be a solid block. Villagers with "Follow Me" on will try to get around the obstacle or (if it's a structure) teleport inside once I'm far enough away - if I open the door myself, they'll go through the opening, but won't shut it behind them the way they do with a regular door, and the minute I close it again we're back to the same solid block reaction. Most of my worlds are single-player with hand-picked mods rather than packs, but I've tried several different things: New world creation (nope), downloaded world creation (nope), specifically designed 'door mods' like Malesis Doors (no), removing every other mod and having only MCA and the door mod (Extra Biomes XL and Biomes O'Plenty, with biomes both off and on), and of course the config. I even downloaded a second copy directly to the mods folder, because I like tinkering with the skins and was worried I'd broken something. Is there anything I can do to fix this, or a mod that they will accept?
(Wouldn't be a horrible thing normally, but a) I'm not a fan of the original door and Zombies / Skeletons / etc can actually reach them through it if they decide to sleep close enough.)

That is not an issue of MCA but more an Issue of the Mods which contain these Modded Doors. These Doors have not been coded so far that Entities see them as a Door but rather as a Block which they can't pass through. You should notice it since not only MCA Villagers have issues going through the doors but also other Mobs. (Carpenters Blocks Doors for example are like if the Mobs act as if it was just a wall, especially Garage Door)
Malesis Doors is at this point sortantly decently Coded, Mobs knowing that this is a Door, but can't seem to open it on their Own and don't know what to do with it but if it stands Open, they go through as if it was nothing wrong and only rarely close the doors also behind them or depending if it was open allready they close and open it again while passing through the door.
So yeah, i would say it's more of an issue of the Mods which contain the Doors since it seems to be a Task to get these Coded right so that Entities actually see them and use them as Doors RIGHT. (something like that), it's not fault of the MCA ^^' (since Vanilla Mobs do it too)
All i can give you as hint to use perhaps Pressure Plates since once they step on it, they open the Door and then perhaps go through after a while or they just gonna hang around in the room forever. Or use a texture Pack to change the looks of the Vanilla Doors since there are many Textures you could use to make them ol Vanilla Doors fancier! 8D

Thanks Shiro, wasn't even sure how to check coding - my knowledge is exceedingly limited. xD Fun fact: pressure plates do 'solve' the issue for any door like you mentioned, even if they look like absolute dinguses tripping it by accident. (*milling around* OMG THERE'S AN OPENING! *all villagers rush the door*) Think I'll just change the texture for the Vanilla instead though, outfitting every door with double plates AND making sure mobs don't get in is a pain.
I'm having a problem with the marriage system. I don't have an image of the first problem, but I do have an image of the second problem. The first problem was that I started a new world and tried to get engaged to a villager, but the villager kept saying I was already married. I didn't remember proposing to someone else, so I found a priest and got a "divorce". That allowed me to get engage to the villager, but now that I'm trying to marry the village he says he's a;ready married. I'm confused and found out that it was a bug so I'm posting it to you. I hope you read this soon, the mod is great I've been playing it for years now. Thank you
To anyone interested, the creator of the Vampirism mod, created a new mod, Vampirism Integrated, which lets it work with various modded biomes and also MCA Villagers. So yes, you can now play with a vampire family. Just watch out for those hunters.
I've got a problem. Not sure if this is happening to anyone else but, apparently curing a zombie villager will result in a no skin steve the farmer. tried this with and without other mods. any zombie villager will result to this. now instead of curing a zombie i just use a villager spawn egg to randomly generate one. sometimes with a child which is nice. still it would be great find an answer to this. even though i just have to spawn villagers in, it still bothers me.
I've been working on this problem for a minute now, and I just need some help.
Is there a way to make villagers drop skulls when they die. I am using it for a custom server I am running.
Hi, I am having a lot of trouble getting this working. I mainly want to use it on my personal MP server, and when nothing seemed to happen after installation, I tried loading an existing single-player world and nothing happened there either. When I started a new single-player world, I got a crystal ball in my inventory that allowed me to access some additional configuration options, but not when I logged into the MP server. After logging in and out a couple times, I did once get a message in the upper left that said to right-click on the enchanting table, but there was no enchanting table interface visible. My server is running Forge 14.23.0.2491, Minecraft version 1.12.2 and the current versions of MCA and RadixCore on both server and client. I have only a couple other mods: JourneyMap and Schematica. Is there an itemid I can use to give myself the crystal ball, or a mod data file I can reset so it will try to run the configuration again? Any suggestions or troubleshooting steps I could try? Any help deeply appreciated, since this looks like a fun mod and I'd really like to try it!
Hey I Look At The Website That To Make Your Child Marry You Need To Have A Two Matchmaker ring And Then Gift Them and Make Them Stand In front Each Other My Question Is What Is Matchmaker Ring? Does It Like Engagement And Wedding ring? Do I need Does Two? And Do i Gift Them Like Normal Press Interact Then Press Gift Then Select The Item Done?
Does anyone have a solution for names and jobs not being correct? I'll have, let's say, Barb the Butcher and she will have a butcher skin but she'd have trades for something else like a fletcher, farmer, shepherd, etc. This is across all of my villagers, with the majority of their jobs not matching their names at all.
and every 30 seconds or so, this gets spammed in the server log, this
is shortened, theres about a thousand lines at a time, and it makes the
server unresponsive for over 15 seconds at a time. any ideas?

can you guys adjust the size of MCA villagers? they look smaller compare to any human-shaped sprite : o
You can adjust the size and width with the book Village Editor that is included in the mod.
