Yeah, I just updated to the B1j hotfix and I got invisible water too. I also got a savings chunks crash when placing my first workbench. The save won't load either. Gonna delete everything and reinstall, see if that helps.

Nice knowing it isn't just me...
Also: Trees, they don't gen right and don't drop the right stuff.
I personally think that rather than automatically dropping the sticks the leaves should fall to the ground so that you can harvest them after choping down the tree especially as the current despawning of the leaves does not make much sense. This would also mean you have to be careful when choping down trees as the the leaves could be made to cause the player damage when they fall, it also makes them easer to reach. They should probably wither away after some time as well to prevent cluttering.
You are forgetting that leaves don't suffocate you in this mod like they do in vanilla. Aside from that I agree with you. Vanilla has long bugged me with the whole "punching trees" concept. I always thought punching leaves to get sticks and then built a rudimentary tool (flint tool) was a brilliant idea. I even played a mod that did that last year. I don't remember which mod, but it was pretty limited. However, the whole chopping down the tree and having the leaves just disappear? Now that is something I just can't get on board with. If I had any modding skills whatever that is something I would be changing in a hurry. The idea of leaves falling and then decaying like they do in vanilla appeals to me.
when i put logs on the ground to make wood pile ; minecraft go on saving chunks screen and close and whenever i try to go back into my world it do the same thing?!

Ah HA! Reinstalling fixed my game. I think I didn't delete all the config files when I updated. There are four, I only deleted one last time. However, now all the wood in my inventory turned into High Carbon Red Steel Ingots. Must have been an ID change. Oh well, I'll just throw them in a pit and go chop some more trees in the morning.
Edit: Well, mostly fixed. My water is still invisible. I use Optifine any one else having this issue?

Umm, I got Pig Iron but I can't work it into wrought iron, I've been heating up full bars of unshaped pig iron to white hot but I still can't work it in the anvil. I also have flux in there in case that's needed.

No. You're being purposely ignorant, and a smartass.

I may assume you are also playing this mod with optifine? The only time I've seen invisible water is when optifine is installed. You MUST install optifine AFTER *repeat AFTER* this mod. Meaning, if you do a manual install, by putting the files into the jar, you MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST MUUUSSTTT put the optifine files in LAST. I found this about 8 posts back so I woulnd't expect anyone to find it, so if anyone asks in the next 5 pages tell them they are stupid. lmao. If you have invible water and you DONT have optfine installed, what mods DO you have installed? Maybe we can figure something out.

I've got Optifine installed before TFCraft and have no issues with it at all...my issues are totally of the "Where the @%#$ is all the tin?!?" variety. Still have yet to find a single vein, lol.
What do I do with all my metals now?
-I think ingot storage (similar to log storage perhaps?) should be introduced. Simply place the ingot on the ground to start stacking them into a full block.
-Pig iron to railways (maybe this is already implemented. I havent messed TOO much with this mod yet)
-Further down the line, but advanced swords like a broadsword or katana (or THROWING STARS =D)
OTHER SUGGESTIONS:
-Water can be drained (similar to BTW and BC) with buckets, infinite water fix basically, and flowing water will stop flowing after a certain amount of time if placed by the player. This would break infinite gem+diamond systems, which I think is a flaw.
-Actual uses for gems, such as jewelry or trading with NPCs. Suggestions needed for uses. Maybe diamonds first must be worked before they are used for recipes like the enchanting table, and a jewel-crafting kit is required.
-ALEXDC SAID " I personally think that rather than automatically dropping the sticks the leaves should fall to the ground so that you can harvest them after choping down the tree especially as the current despawning of the leaves does not make much sense. -Flint generation increased, also suggested is a javelin or other crude, opening weapon
-Easily allow modders to add new recipes for more advanced weapons that can be crafted in the anvil will alleviate the work you have to do and will allow the community to help, which is always a plus =)
- CRYSYN said "you would also likely want to give [a bow] a leather grip but keep the silk or wool or some other type of string. Leather on its own in thin strips breaks pretty easily Wound string can hold a nice amount of force with out snapping. Composite bows have other materials in them (animal bone for example) to make the bow itself more resilient and still not breaking as a manner to increase these.. Then we can get into Crossbows some where down the line"
- SPEARMANIAC said "A club and a blow gun would make good early weapons, I like the idea of repairable metal tool heads. Perhaps a % chance to drop a damaged head when the handle breaks? (with a better chance for advanced alloys) Reheat it and add some liquid metal of the same type, then remake it on the anvil, maybe?"
- SPEARMANIAC also suggested for more weapons, like swords, to have different types of handles, such as hilts.
- Many have suggested a sawmill, similar to BTW, but maybe using a handsaw at first and only much later an automated saw

So... Did it fix the invisible water..?
I just looked, they both modify lr.class...
Now, if someone would just merge them...
edit: Got water working, but the trees aren't dropping the item version of the log, just the block itself...
NOTE: mod is INCOMPATIBLE with "Timber!" by TehKrush!
