i know that every Mod builder hates to hear this but... i cant wait to see this on SMP heh, with this banner system you put in. it will be really neat to see players building kingdoms under each of the banners colors. My last SMP server i played on made it so every one had there own color of wool to mark there land.. so this added on to that would be sweet.

thats a common problem with all mods that add blocks. You will just have to craft them in creative mode
i love that you made it so we can make chain male armor in a more practical way. Although i think that 1 iron bar should make one chain link, that way the mats for chain and normal iron cost the same amount of iron. Unless i am wrong, they are both the same quality and its only a matter of looks. With your mod, there is no reason to ever make the normal iron armor... it would cost more iron to.
Speaking of witch, i just noticed that my chain armor i was wearing is not showing up on my avatar any more

The durability and protection of chainmail armour is less than iron armour. So there is a point to making iron armour over chain. No idea what could cause your armour issue. Try removing my mod from the mods folder and see if it fixes it. I doubt it but I may have accidentally changed something
EDIT: Just realised this issue would be caused by my mod. I may have left a small part of code in i was using to test quiver rendering. I will upload a fix tonight
ah! alrighty, i didn't know that about chain-male. well then dont change a thing (^_~) as for the see through armor, I will give it a try.
on a side note, this is stretching pretty fare but it would be bad ass to see this mod and Mo'creatures have some compatible features like armor for the mounts in the mod, Horse/pegasus/Ostriches. Just a though *shrug*
Yup! got rid of the mod and my armor is showing up again... though personally i think my guy looks cooler with out it so i am not bothered by the bug, and this mod is way to cool not to have lol but im sure others might if it happens to them.
FYI, unequip all your stuff before deleting this mod... i just lost all my swords and stuff i had in the slots lol
the durability display of the tool/weapon on the 2nd and 3rd slot of the main hand mimics the durability of the first, a graphical error i guess.
in addition, i can't seem to block when using 2 swords. while pressing both the mouse buttons.

I also started texturing for my upcomming "Knights armour". It will be a dyable armour that will have durability/protection between iron and diamond. It will be crafted using iron, and chain armour as well as a piece of cloth.
I want a section of each of the pieces to be dyable, however I am not sure what to do about the boots (they are currently just metalic). Suggestions would be very welcome
Should I assume you can't equip arrows in a shield slot? and if not, have you considered implementing the quiver to be used(could even be visable in 3rd person view)?

See how there is a bit of room on the right hand side. I will have another slot to add a quiver there. When a quiver is placed it will open up 4 extra slots for arrows. Whenever a bow is equipped the quiver will then appear on your back with 1 arrow per stack.

Ok I just re-added the relevant png file. Try re-downloading and it should work, sorry about that
Sorry I don't have the crash report, but my minecraft keeps crashing, and it says the main error in the log is that the minecraft.jar file is missing a playerbase.class, and I've looked into vanilla 1.2.5 .jars and they don't have a file called playerbase.class, can anyone help me?

Edit 2: This only happens when I install this mod, it doesn't happen when it isn't in, despite it not being loaded.
Edit 3: I had a derp, I forgot to download player api never mind, the problem is fixed.
i think i will hold off on getting the update with the bug fixes till you put in the new paint-able armor, as for the boots, i would just put a strip of the color going down the right and left side of the foot. like a cloth strap. It will add to the colored look wile still looking like a metal boot. Plus a color-able version of diamond armor would be cool as well. just make it cost more, take all the same as the colored iron set only diamond rather then iron bars, or even more then that! make it really hit the resources for it.
Cant wait for the arrows thing as well. sounds wicked! i hate having to fill up inventory space with stacks of arrows, this will help out with that so much!

Try making another version of the armor skins... a samurai look would make me weep tears of nerd joy. I have a samurai look to my avatar that i love and can post a pic up of if to give you an idea of what i have in mind if you like this idea at all.

There are too many base class edits in BTW for any other modders to keep compatibility. Not only that the author states that he does not care if his mod is incompatible with others. If you have a problem you should take it up with him.
Do you need forge for the banners? I hope not cause forge doesnt work for me

Yes sorry you do need Forge for the banners. I couldn't get them working correctly without forge. I just added a note to the OP.
As for the other things you mentioned, In the newest version there are now 3 sets of weapon slots (so 6 in total). As for the Red armour, scroll up to one of my last posts, there is a preview pic of what will be in the next release (again only with minecraft forge). I might see how a strap works. I don't plan to make a coloured version of diamond armour, for the sole reason that the knights armour will already take up 16*4=64 item IDs. I really don't want to make coloured versions of every armour. Also then I would have to make more skins, I actually already have the knight armour skins pretty much made.
Well with the knights armour, there will be 16 versions (1 for each colour). I am sure people with much greater texturing skill than me will make versions from different cultures (like your samurai example)

Quivers are comming along, just might take me a bit longer than the armour. As for the WIP section thread, I plan to either abandon it (at least until I have time for NPCs) or leave it as a kinda testing ground for any crazy new features I want for this.

You need minecraft forge for the banners to work. They also will not appear in the creative menu.
