it keeps crashing for me! i installed it the easy way and the other way and it just keeps saying:
Mods Loaded: 2
Modloader 1.1
Bacteria_Mod v1.8
Minecraft has Crashed:
------------------------------
I dont know how to comment images so i can tell you the rest
*one thing you can do is delete the folder mods in User/Appdata/Roaming/.minecraft ,after delete the folder, run minecraft and do force update to fresh the minecraft.jar install first the modloader 1.1 (if you minecraft is 1.1),run minecraft,if the game don't crash, install the bacteria mod and others.
*if don't work try delete all the .minecraft folder, run minecraft and do force update to receive a new fresh folder and install first the modloader 1.1 (if you minecraft is 1.1),run minecraft,if the game don't crash, install the bacteria mod and others
ATENTION ! make a backup of your .minecraft folder for in case don't work !.
you can acess appdata folder by go in Start/all programs/acessories/run , write "%appdata%" (without the " ")
Pretty cool. Bricks work again, that's nice. Still dang hard to get it to eat lava though, I keep catching on fire or my redstone torch gets burned up, lol.

Uhm... yeah, i'm having not so much lag... could be that it's caused by the mod but just to look:
Press F3 and look how many Items are "active" (http://www.minecraft...ki/Debug_screen)
Anyway i will try to reduce lag anyway
But if you want to reduce lag without updating, try to change to old update mode (properties)
What do you mean with "TMI-esque ease" ??

@Slydog: Thanks
Get real. It was a review. Reviews, contrary to popular belief, cover both the positives and negatives. In that respect, I was more than fair. You need thicker skin.
To reiterate, but less considerately:
The mod causes intense lag when the bacteria begin multiplying. This is a fact.
To say this mod is "game breaking" would be an understatement
Getting the bacteria to work initially is very unintuitive
And a slight bug: It seems like this mod changes the texture of certain trees.. odd..
Not this mod, there was a bug in the initial release of modloader that changed the jungle tree texture to the normal tree texture. It's been fixed for days now, get the most recent modloader.
There was one other mod I know of called Treecapitator that did this as well, but it has also been fixed.
On another note, here's a set of textures to use with this mod if you're running a 32x texture pack. Also made them tile, which is only really noticeable for the must, since you're not likely to place more than one bacteria colony next to each other, but there you go.
cool mod but when i try to edit the ids (cause it crashed) it stays the same untill i go into minecraft it crashes i go back to it they went back to the original ids how do i change them so they wont change back?

Have you saved the edits you made? That may be the problem.
