hey can you pleas get off your butt and update this mod
DUDE. 1. He hasnt been on for a while and probably didnt see the 1.4.6 update until later. 2. He was working hard on his other mods, which he pays more attention to. 3. He's probably not going to see your post anyway so why bother moving your fingers to type this.
Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd... why should I use this mod? This is a fail (that's what I think), you can use the rule en minecraft>chat: gamerule keepInventory true/false to keep your items in your inventory; anyway, I didn't install the mod so I can't say this is a fail... :I

This is in the vanilla game. You just need "cheats" on to do the command in-game.
..Wow.. I'm not even going to explain it all anymore. But look at my other posts on the earlier page Now I think you guys are trolling. Think before you type. Commands aren't even enabled for everything. Even if this is a cheat, it's less of a cheat than that dumb command, let this be a lesson to anyone ELSE who tries to type "u can just use gamerulle keepinventory true lololololol"

Well.. I don't know about everyone else here, but I want this modfor 1.4.7 badly because I do not want to enable all cheats on the game. As I said before, I have no willpower. It is too easy to give myself what I need. I want to explore and find what I need and all the rest, but I do not want to lose everything because I fell into lava or something like that. This way I get to KEEP INVENTORY ON DEATH without having to turn on all those other precious cheats. precious...

Sorry for the delay guys. Overheating issues with my laptop fan (causing it to get sent in for servicing) previously delayed a simple update for too long.
Single player port updated for 1.4.7, so you don't need to rely on cheats if you don't want to use cheats.

I did see your comment.
While I won't be doing the drop a specific item, I have made the code opensource for you, or a modder of your choice to use
P.s. I too laughed when I read people trolling my mod (lets hope they were, cause otherwise, they do come across as thick). This mod was made before cheats existed, and is updated for single player, for the people who don't want to use cheats.
Thanks for the update to 1.4.7 this is greatly appreciated. I wanted this MOD badly enough that I finally downloaded MCP and installed the Java SDK and the Forge source files and started the first tutorials because I was going to finally force myself to learn modding and make my own, but this saves me THAT little bit. I am still going to keep kicking myself in the pants to start modding. I mean, in the past I have programmed in Basic, PowerBasic, Blitz Basic, DarkBasic Pro, C#, C++ and some other stuff. I enjoyed it when I used to program a lot. Nowadays I do not program much and knew nothing of Java. Although, when you have worked with a lot of languages you start to see how they are all essentially the same animal with different furs, teeth and claws. So learning Java won't be the biggest leap of faith ever. I think I was more intimidated by learning the complex processes of needing to setup all the tools, paths and what not for modding minecraft. I think learning Java will be the easy part (sort of) and learning the mod minecraft itself will be the big learning curve for me. I am getting excited about the idea of modding though. I have SO many ideas I want to pursue.
Still, thanks for this update though. I will enjoy it whilst I learn to make my own mods.
All you have to do is open your world to lan and enable cheats. Then input /gamerule keepInventory true. Is there something else about this mod that makes that different?
So were commands in single player...
PLEASE update to 1.4.7 .. I hate enabling cheats but I love having keep items on death.. I have no willpower <shame>

keepInventory also preserves experience levels. This does not.
A double resolution texture pack thatstays faithful to original Minecraft textures.
Unless you enabled cheats either when creating a world, or when opening to LAN... you see:
That's a huge plus, hope this mod updates cause I too lack 100% self control with cheats enabled
You and me both!
