I hope that a fix for the stair issue is forthcoming. I used this mod several Minecraft versions ago, and it worked perfectly with the exception of several small glitches here and there.
I tested this out yesterday and I find the miner and farmer a little buggy. The Miner sometimes bugs the stairs going down to the mine. He sometimes forgets to place stairs or sometimes ruins the staircase with blocks so high that he can't jump to it and get back up.
The Farmer sometimes misplaces the slabs he uses for the pathway of the farm. He sometimes double places.
And my suggestion for the Trader. Make it a little harder to get diamonds. It's like When a miner comes back from the mine you can easily get 1-3 Diamonds from the trader.
can the miners mine obsidian?
What if the miners come across a dungeon with a chest. will it take the contents and the mossy cobble?
and does the trader have obsidian?
Also what if you have other mods that have new ores. will he collect them?
what if the miner finds a stronghold. will he mine the portal?
and does the lumberjack with the the diamond ax plant all trees?
I would like to say this is an awesome mod. my friend has used this mod and I wanted to as well though I come with some problems. it isnt a big deal that it isnt working though I would like to upload my crash dump so that you have something to look at to maybe fix things. Currently one of the mods I have takes up that item ID though I thought it would take up the next available slot. I cannot find the block what so ever in NEI when I load minecraft with the jar placed inside the minecraft.jar folder but when in the /mods folder I have complete crash. Also looking at crash dump 171 is taken and seems it cannot find a next free place. hopefully this log helps with things though.

Hey guys I had a error earlier. It turns out that this mod is not compatible with buildcraft builders unless...you change the id 171 for buildcraft to 200. Hope that helps
But how do I change IDs of another mod?

I was able to change it to 174 (200 was used) for the buildcraft marker. I would like to have the ability to change the ID of Mice Workers though. Another thing would be nice that other ores would be broken properly but not a big deal for me to re place them down and break them or find a buildcraft way of breaking them. this would be nice mod to have in technic. A little glitchy from time to time but honistly think the logger is alot better then the forestry mod for tree farming

The farmer just keep walking arround the Right side and dont collect anything, the wheat is alredy grown, but he dont collect it, and the left side is all grown too and he dont go there to collect
What i did wrong?
Can anyone help me?
And i read in the tips that i need to put the farmer blow the dirt line, can anyone tell me how many blocks down it is?

This is a great mod which comes in handy. I have only one complaint, the miner messes up placing his stairs and therefor gets stuck and cant get out. Has anyone else had this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated

if it's because the altitude is 2 blocks high and he can't jump, just place a block so he can jump =)
I really like this mod and often use it early game with a new world. The only thing that bugs me is the miner AI. I am forever having to watch him as he often gets himself stuck with his own excavating/stair placing (which tends to cancel out the idea of setting him up and letting him go while out adventuring). Otherwise, it's a very handy mod.

I love the mod! I especially like the seller guy. He got me TONS of diamonds.
But the texture of the workers look like a 12 year old did it. But other than that, a great mod!
