Hi, I have a crash report that I don't know how to fix. It looks as if it's due to buildcraft, so I'm posting it here. Thanks for any help you can give me!
EDIT: wow, I managed to not include the crash report:

Slot 179 is already occupied by ee.BlockEEDevice
You're adding this new mod but the Block ID 179 number is already in use by EE. You'll want to go into your buildcraft\config\AdditionalPipes.cfg file and change the 179 to something else that's not in use. If you have NEI you can write out a map of what you're using, if not just keep trying numbers till one works. 213 I think worked for me in 1.2.3? But it all depends on the mods you have.

First that is a block ID conflict, second you are trying to use the BC3 version of Additional Pipes with BC2..
I would suggest you use the Correct version of Forestry for your Buildcraft, right now that is the Forestry for Buildcraft 3
I believe I was using Buildcraft 2. There was a more recent version for that, and I tried it, but that didn't work either, the Buildcraft 3 version was just a worse crash report.
1: still doesn't work with logistics pipes
2: when loading up a 1.2.3 world it forgot *all* my frequencies. Much suckage given I have something like 8 sets out there.
edit: ignore point 1, updated logistics pipes (just built this 1.2.5 set yesterday) and they work there again. Time to begin the annoyance of re-doing the pipes.

Compatibly from one MC version to another is never guaranteed. Especially considering the rework that took place under the hood of Additional Pipes I would actually be shocked if they did carry over.
I'm having some odd crashes now that I'm using 1.2.5 and all the mods I use that are updated to it.
Specifically, there's been some random crashing related to teleport pipes when right-clicking them to modify their frequencies (EDIT: Also, the distribution pipe is doing it now, but it is nowhere near anything other than pipes in an open field). It's not a guarantee that each pipe will crash, but I have to flinch and hold my breath praying for Minecraft not to crash each time I go to adjust a pipe. I wish I could get a log, but the screen never displays it, I just get the "Dirt Background" (you know, the one behind the options and other menus in Minecraft) and it's pretty much done for, because it will go to a pure black screen after 10 seconds. The Modloader log shows everything loaded fine, so the crash I can't really get the log for. I tried the Minecraft error test batch script, but since I log into my server as a new "Player###", I am completely unable to reproduce the errors. I can place and remove teleport pipes with no problem, and modify their frequencies appropriately. I went as far as to remove ALL teleport pipes, of transport, waterproof, and power varieties, and then RE place them. Also, since it's my own personal server, I went in and deleted my user's .dat file, so that it would reset my information on the server. No dice. Certain locations seem to cause it, or if the teleport pipes are "too close" to objects that belong to other mods. I usually separate the teleport pipes with a normal waterproof/transport/power pipe between the object in question and the teleport pipe, but even just 2-3 blocks away from a Wheat Farm/Harvester, as well as an Alchemical Chest, have caused crashes. So it can't just be EE & Forestry both. I suspect it's probably somewhere in Forge, but if I can pinpoint something, I know I'd be of more help. Any ideas for how to get the error log?
While I don't have an error log to show, I at least DO know the versions and which Mods I have installed on both client and server, since they run on my laptop & desktop, respectively.

Having an odd issue with teleport pipes not connecting to chests or other objects. Have they been changed so you cannot directly connect them or is this unexpected behaviour? Running latest download, MC1.2.5 and BC2
Getting some seriously odd behavior here. As in pipes (liquid and power) stop working and report x connections where x is between 10 and something large. (max I saw was 183)
That frequency is then unusable for a while. Most annoying when trying to pump oil from a spout a long way into the distance.
oh, I am running the latest version for 3.x, 3.0.10
I was watching some Direwolf20 today (never seen him before) and I saw that he had a basic logistic/item transport pipe combo set-up in a way that he just uses his remote orderer on the logistic pipe and he can get any item from his network yet any way I've tried to do the same fails, anyone what how to make what he did or did he also use another mod besides additional pipes and buildcraft?..
He's using Logistics Pipes and the Remote Orderer device from that mod. You can also use a Wrench on a Request Pipe if you don't have the diamonds-expensive Remote Orderer device.

Yes but how does he have them connected is what I'm asking, cause I connected a full chest to a sending teleport pipe that sends to a receving teleport pipe connected to a logistic pipe but whe I use the remote orderer on the logistic pipe it doesn't give me any options of items I can grab
