I know long shot but does anyone have full list for all the textures (or even a psd file with all names of the textures) in the mod? Making slow progress on current pack would speed up a lot if I knew what most textures are.

I have a couple of desirable features, one just a straight add, another perhaps a researchable item.
"Shift Q" for dropping an entire stack rather than just "Q" dropping a single item. I am typically dropping entire stacks of miscellaneous stuff into my crucible. Having to hit "Q" 64 times for each stack is tedious let alone not good for carpal. 'Shift" Q seems to do nothing, so there would be no harm in mapping it to drop the whole thing, and it would be much appreciated.
"Nightwalker's Bed" being the same thing as the regular bed, except that it brings you to nightfall rather than dawn. This would be useful if wanting to go out mob hunting, which I find myself doing often.
I have a thought which might combine both the Calcifire 'meta-tag' research system and the Gravitas 'blatant 4x ripoff' systems.

My only reservation with these ideas is this: in the real world, say you are learning about geology. You accumulate a significant amount of knowledge, which satisfies whatever reason you were researching it in the first place. Then you start learning about gemology. It's a related field, but not exactly the same. However, what you learned about geology before impacts your study of gemology, and so you aren't starting from scratch.
The same ideas would apply to thaumian researches. If you keep all research from each branch completely separate, it doesn't really make sense, since there would be some overlap. For example, if you are researching Forbidden Knowledge and metal, when you go to research Lost Knowledge, the study of metal you previously did should start you out with a bit of knowledge already that applies. In my opinion anyway.
I don't know how much harder it would be to code, but perhaps if one is researching specifics in one branch, such as metal, or crystals, it should add a small percentage of points to each of the other branches as well. Say, if you earn 10 points in Forbidden researching metals, 1 point would also go in each of Eldritch, Lost and Tainted toward research of metals there.
Does that make sense? I'm just saying, don't keep research in one branch totally without effect in the other branches. There should be a bit of overlap.

I've been playing Vanilla MC on a server with a friend, so I'm a bit rusty with the new TC2 stuff. I'll be starting a new world using the Direwolf20 list, though. May as well try some new mods, and get back to some old ones.

Humm. I'm not 100% sure but it might be from forge since i have all of those, and more, mods. Try using the *.94 version of the forge. That's the one im using.
Finally got around to snap backfiring thaumometer.
The portal in front I've traveled quite a few times, and it generated considerable taint charge. But as long as you stay in front of it, you won't notice it. You have to step right into next block to pick up readings from the chunk the portal located in.
This demonstrates, that while Taint being assigned properly, readings go wrong about chunk borders. (Coords -161 and -162 both belong to the same chunk.)

So... Start with a fresh Minecraft.jar
