Yes like others have said make it a friendly faction and it shouldnt get attacked. By players at least.
You can stop the living animation in the display menu.
but, what if I want a friendly faction to be attackable?... I mean, if I have a friendly faction with an amount of points, isn't the point system a means to decide the factions' reaction?
will try what you say, tho.

Hello noppes your mod is amazing :). anyway my question is how do i put in custom music? i have it in the folder and the enemy as a bard and if i attack it or press the play button on the music in the music tab it makes no sound
I was wondering, how difficult would it be to add a rank system to the factions? So you could level up within a faction without having to have an individual faction for each rank which becomes cluttered very quickly. Also, no matter the difficulty (unless its impossible) would you be willing to consider it?

I have thought about it yes, but it would make it more complicated and I dont feel like its very necesary right now.

I know alot of other people probably did the same thing, But i'm gonna do it anyway.
Bugs i've noticed:
While making a squid mob that naturally spawned in oceans and rivers, I couldn't find them anywhere. Even with 100% chance.
You can't remove clones.
(Not sure if this is a bug) I made a bunch of guys on the friendly team and one guy on the agressive, They both had "Defend faction members" and "attack hostile factions" enabled. But when the agressive guy started attacking one guy, The friendlys would sit around doing nothing, And after a while rush towards the enemy and usually hit 0-2 times, And do the same thing again.
Thanks for this awesome mod! I can't wait to see what's in store for the future!

yeah, I gave that another thought.... pretty stupid point I made....
anyways, that thing worked, now they're completely invulnerable..... looking back, I did make it work earlier by accident, but I wasn't thinking about it.

I know 1.6.4 is older, but I could not find anything on this in the 858 pages on this thread. I am using forge 965 and trying to just load customnpc 1.6.2-1.6.4.zip and I keep getting a crash. Any way to fix this? Need 1.6.4 for pixelmon 3.0.2 and a map that uses both..

This is odd but when I go into my mincraft folder, saves, my map, custom npcs, i only have a dialogue.dat, playerdata folder, recipes.dat, scripts folder. I do not have a resource folder like everyone else does therefore i cannot add custom music/skins. I placed the custom npc mod folder in the mods section and everything, but my world data doesnt add that resource folder. Is there a way i can fix this?

Re logging didn't work it still fades out when its a play in background with the no for the ending option.
I've been making a huge rpg world and I was setting up traveling music so when you exit areas around towns you will have music play in the background. Its not needed but it adds to the game, because paths can take a good 15 mins without interference.
Edited: This may be the reason, its still listed as a player sound, not as minecraft music, I was playing with the sound settings.
Edited: it glitch out for a little bit longer and then started working after i redownloaded the mod, Thank you for helping!

Yes. cause I totally spread gold bars on my toast...
Launch minecraft go to options > resource packs -> press the open resource folder button
Nope will probably never happen
It seems to somewhat bug out when you are editing it. Not sure what causes it. Could you relog after setting it up and check.
