i like the mod but i have 2 ideas
1. make the bludgers hurt if you get hit
2. different brooms all ranging in speed(generic-slowest, nimbus 2000-midspeed, nimbus 2001-fast, firebolt-really fast, costum-your choice)

I plan to have bludgers build up damage on players until they have a chance to fall off their brooms.
I don't know if I will have different brooms, but if I do they will be along the lines of: 1 being fastest, 1 being able to take more bludger hits, etc.
Hey I was just letting you know if you want your mod more accurate to the lore behind quidditch. The quaffle has a charm on it so it falls slowly. So like if I through it and it didn't get to someone it wouldn't fall straight to the ground it would slowly fall.

Suggestion: The bludger could push people around on there brooms and then occasionally they fall off. Then the bludger would be more annoying.

Already planned, in fact I just about finished coding bludgers being able to push players :tongue.gif: Just fine tuning it then gotta add the falling off and transfer it to the server code
This looks amazing! I'm going to test it on my server tonight. We have already starting on building hogwarts before I found this, the field is already in place! Any idea if this supports spout? Or if you can install it with spout?

It's currently coded to be directly implemented in the server.jar using modloadermp, though I think I'm going to look into working with bukkit. Not sure what spout is, but if it edits core classes then maybe not

Do you take possession of the quaffle if you bump into another player? Or is there a way to tackle another player? (perhaps if you fly head-long into their face?)
I'd suggest a general slow-fall charm that you can carry around. Also, if you fall off your broom or dismount in midair, does the broom fall too, or does it stay where it is, or what? I'd have it follow a ballistic trajectory, possibly slowing until it's just falling.
As for recipes, how about blaze rods in place of sticks for a faster broom? A slimeball plus a broom to make a broom stickier (so you aren't as likely to fall off). Perhaps add a diamond to a blaze-rod broom for the fastest speed. You couldn't have both a slimeball and a diamond on a broom, though.
And the slow-fall charm could be a feather and a gold nugget. On top of that, a device to call your broom toward you would be great. Maybe one wheat and one stick next to each other? Attune it by left-clicking it on the broom you're using. The broom would fly directly toward you on its own when you hold right-click with the accio charm selected. (Left-click on anything else, it's just a random object in your hand).
I have yet to see mods that take advantage of the enchantment and potions systems, but that's a whole new realm of complexity for most, and this mod seems to be doing only a few reasonably simple things (and doing them well as far as I'm concerned).

After i logged in it went black screen.
I did delete META-INF
That's odd... do you have any other mods installed?
Try forcing minecraft to update, then reinstalling modloader, modloadermp client, and quidcraft client

Actually this here might work, http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/382599-181-modloadermp-for-craftbukkit-and-canary/ However I don't know if it will. Also, since right now bukkit is set up for 1.8 not 1.0 I don't know how well it will work, but goodluck and I'll continue to look into stuff
