KC, with the 7.1 version, you know how you used W A S D to drive? Could you make a config for vehicles so you can choose to use W A S D to steer or the mouse to steer? I like the WASD more.

With just the kcweapon and halocraft mod all mongooses except the black one seemed to be having huge texture problems but combined with other mods all the mongooses have texture problems. Im using java 1.8 64 bit and windows 7 if that helps any. The pics below show the mongooses, the first pic is a mongoose when I have other mods installed the 2nd one is a mongoose without other mods and the 3rd is a black mongoose without other mods. If there is any way on my part that I can fix it so the textures work please say so and if it is the mod please fix it. Thanks and good work with the mod so far.

It looks pretty bad, but I thought Java 1.8+ wouldn't work with forge. Check in you KCWeapons Mod and Halocraft and make sure nothing was deleted, or just re-download it. It may fix the problem...
reinstalling doesn't fix the mongoose textures for me and I know nothing was deleted from the weapon and halocraft mods and the forge version Im using is 1.7.10-Forge10.13.4.1481-1.7.10 if that helps. Perhaps redoing the mongoose texture might fix this problem? cause I also have this problem with some public made content packs for flans mod and I think it is cause the programs used to texture some of the models have issues with certain newer graphics cards, unless the ghost and warthog were textured with the same program as the mongoose then idk.

I just realised this: You're using the v0.7.4.01 Beta download. Yes it may be beta for the 3D armour, but it may have effected you're mongoose textures.
The mongoose textures have the same problem on other versions too. Maybe my graphics card is too new for the textures? And java 1.8 only had problems with forge 1.6.4 and below I think.

I have an old desktop and i tried to play minecraft on it one time and (it barely can run the game anyway) but the ground was invisible except caves etc and some terrain in the distance. but its like idk 12 years old lol. i think it crashed regularly too and it runs win xp. also it cant even run halo pc either players are all white textured and crashes too. lol its a throwaway i kept for modding my xbox original xD its sole purpose.

hmm, is it just the wheels on the mongoose? aka the cylinders? cos they use Turbo Model Thingy while the rest of the mongoose model uses the default rendering technique. (all other vehicle and gun etc models use TMT completely) Also the mongoose models are all from the same class so idk why the black one renders better then the others except that it's entity is registered first in the code. Also you mentioned Flan's Mod and some packs having issues, i know that it also uses TMT (except a slightly different variant as we have each updated the original discontinued mod slightly differently). Maybe the issue is in TMT...?

I'll see what i can do. i've been slacking off lately and have been distracted by some upcoming exams. and i haven't been particularly in the mood for minecraft. I think i chopped out that code but i can easily restore it with an option in the config too hopefully. also i'll hopefully be able to get the wheels turning in the direction of travel too for the mongoose & warthog.
For all other problems, sorry, it's a bit hard to figure them out when i don't have crash/run/bug logs and i cant recreate them personally.
Also i'll be done for the year in another two weeks plus moving back home + 1 week so dont expect much from me between then. soz, life...

you should add integration with galacticraft and have halo planets expanding in your own solar system from each halo. I just played the other night maby and it was realy fun (with halo not your mod)

It's not natura for sure but, it does seem to make it lagier. I am trying to figure out what it is for 4 hours now.
I think the issue might be ram related even though I gave it 5g it's still allocating alot more then it should for adding your mod on a small modpack.

can you make it so that when the player takes damage while their shields are up it plays a different sfx. (the shield hit sound)
