And this is why I've always hated doing quickie updates.
Oops, missed that one thing that would never have occurred to me to test, lemme fix that! Oh, wait, that didn't actually fix it? Dangit, let me try again. There, how about now? What do you mean that THAT won't work now?! Crap, I forgot that other thing, didn't I? Okay, now it's there. Wait, it's doing that now?

HAH! I was panicking that the new metallurgy I downloaded an hour ago was breaking everything forever. By the time I come here to check it out, it's already fixed. Great work folks, much appreciated!

We try to fix it as fast as possible when these things happen. We can't always test for everything/test every quickfix (we do have normal lives) so if we catch these errors, we try to fix them asap (mostly Keith tries to fix them asap).

Well it's been a few days, but I'm back and there's a new update. I personally didn't notice any bugs, but It's good that you fixed them. One question though, what does your API do? I don't really know much about how modding works.

APIs allow other mods to know how to refer to our stuff in our mod to use it.

This is pure awesome sauce. Thanks for the quick update to the quick update. Thank you once again - I know so many other developers that could take some cues from you.

Yay! That looks correct =P

Dual wielding isn't possible for our mod, but they'll be implemented as a held item. While holding it you won't be knocked back and you take less damage.
But yea, we're going to implement a huge array of new weapons eventually, for the moment I'm dual purposing, since some of that art is being recycled for use for our Balkon's compatibility patch.
Oh, I see. Not sure if the mechanics are the best, though, since having to switch from shield to weapon back and forth in battle is a bit tricky. Battles are usually so fast paced that you'll probably not even remember you have shields in your inventory, let alone switch to them. Although if you don't have to block to benefit from their effects, they'd be much more convenient.
It should help with PvP and certain mods' bosses, though. Reminds me of Swords+ as it is nowadays. Can't speak for Balkon's mods, since I've only glanced at them. : P
I'm not entirely sure metal is flexible enough to use for bows.
Well, after a quick Google search, I found imagery of bows that implement metal bits along with wood, so if you apply some Minecraft logic you could argue that metal bows aren't fully made of metal, just garnished with it, even if the recipes don't use any wood. Let's just call it an acceptable break from reality.
The graphics files are missing, did you guys get Core 2.1.1? (where all the graphics files are located)

On a mild side note, any plans on doing slabs and/or stairs to go with the ore brick blocks? my castle looks kinda goofy with mismatched stairs ;D.
So does that mean that I can use Balkon's weapon mod now and have an Adamantine spear?
fixed.
Oh I see. Alright, thanks for clearing that up.

Thank the Gods for those! ; P
Heh, Minecraft mods wouldn't be the same without everything getting blown to smithereens every other update.
