Well then... let your imagination flow and feed me your ideas! :biggrin.gif:
ok, i will think up a bunch :smile.gif:
and i will also report a few bugs while im at it :biggrin.gif:
one being that the game crashes when i try to destroy a camp fire when it is burning wood. lol, and another would be, the wild animals dont actually breed, they just go up to eachother, but nothing happens
Have you considered changing the bee model. Right now I think it looks too simple, barely resembling a bee in my opinion
If you look carefully, a model is made of up squares or rectangles, and the bee model cannot get any more detailed due to the restrictions of minecraft models.
awesome work on this mod so far! when i first saw it i thought it'd be cool, but you've outdone my imagination by miles!
the only idea's i can give you is more traps. deadfall traps would fit the theme for smaller prey, and maybe some kind of snare that doesn't kill the animal immediately but ties it to a location. but you'd need the right size snare, and the animal would die after a day or two. and trap fences. it takes less material than a normal fence, and when an animal walks into it, it bumps them away, but takes damage itself. over time the fence would break in parts, but still be effective at guiding animals to the awaiting traps. oh, and does bait last forever, or do the animals eventually eat it if they don't get caught by a trap?
i suppose there is one other idea... make the blood attract zombies at night =D maybe even spawn extra of them.
finally, not really an idea, more a suggestion. hook up with mo's creatures or something, maybe just steal some of the basic mob idea's, and make more animals that spawn naturally and run around more broadly. so there's a chance of deer coming though my little valley, but it's not like i'll see them before they get there. like a lot of things in vanilla minecraft, animals need a lot of work... and your mod kind of depends on them.

Ok, is the restriction because of the size or another factor?
Fascinating mod, really top-notch work! Have you considered perhaps splitting it into chunks, though? I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I'm really interested in your traps and such, but I'm less interested in things like the berries and beehives.
I have a couple suggestions for this mod, some of which you might be working on already.
1. A way to make rope out of vines or leather
2. more uses for leather in this mod
3. have new poison frogs that spawn in the swamp and drop poisonous skin, which is crafted into four poisons then you can poison arrows or tomahawks with.
4. (you're probably working on this already) Have tomahawks be slower and two hit kills for non-neutral monsters.
Edit: My game crashes whenever I break a campfire...

PS: i will pm you my suggestions if that is ok
I have a model already for the deadly trap, you cannot make a campfire out of square rectangles, and you cannot make a good looking spike either :/

Unfortunately, I play mostly SMP, so add support for it, and I'm on board :smile.gif:
He said he'll try making smp support eventually, so don't expect it too soon.

(ps add new use for the rope, like throwing it and climbing )
Thanks :laugh.gif:
btw I love this mod but I can never install it correct
