Can the stack change for creosote containers from 64->16 be changed in the config? All I saw was: 'desired Tank Cart capacity' numbers. Or did I miss something? Thanks.

No, Sengir thought reducing the max stack size of capsules to 16 was a good idea, but dunno if he ever did it.
It's crazy. Blaze rod nerfed in 3 times from 2400 to 800 heat. I use blaze spawner, because massive peat farm don't look nice, but now I must rebuild all this. Blaze rod isn't easiest thing to get and I really hate this change, sorry.
What are best renewable liquid fuel now? Biomass? Biofuel? Would be in the future more changes in fuel values?
Best renewable liquid fuel is the best liquid fuel if you have extra bees installed and don't mind doing a bit of breeding there are bees that give oil as their product after processing their combs. Otherwise Biofuel is the best (biomass can't be used as a fuel). As I stated in an earlier post I'm now using the Blaze rods as fuel to power my tree farm and using the charcoal from that to power the boiler (I could use planks but couldn't be bothered setting up the processing chain required and I seriously have more wood than I can ever\will ever use).
I doubt there will be more changes in fuel values in the future as this change was brought about specifically due to the ease of getting a tier5 blaze shard, it is seriously not hard at all. That said though if there is an easily exploitable fueling method that becomes ridiculously overpowering (3-4 36HP from a single tier5 shard was a bit over the top) Covert will most likely nerf the everliving crap out of it and truthfully I applaud him for it, he is at least trying to maintain some semblance of balance in the changing landscape of mods.

But it's not right. Think if in vanilla minecraft every version change fuel values. How many players would be sad. For me isn't so difficult choose another way of getting fuel, but I don't like rebuild something that already work. Some pages ago there was disscus about nerfing peat. I don't understand it. Use hardest way to get fuel because in one day it wouldn't nerfed? Ok. But for example in buildcraft fuel values not changing so othen. You know that what you build in past would work in future. This kind of balance is nothing. It's like gregtech that nerfed blazerod for that reason or many other thing. Every day modmakers make new mods. Change everything because have some cheat magical mods like EE, soulshards, mystcraft or something else isn't a good decision. Some mods can ruin any balance.
You just can use not 1 spawner but 3.

Personally, I would just rather not use Soul Shards at all. The whole concept is ridiculously OP and imo, only serves to remove the gameplay involved in building a normal mob trap (which I find way more rewarding, once I see that huge structure I worked on for so long.)
I guess I'm old fashioned that way, but it is one mod I will not use, ever. So.. it would be great if there was a way to use the old Blaze rod value for people like me. Sucks to see such an over the top mod seemingly being accepted as normal balance.. but whatever, I guess.

Guess he has, because it all went from 64 to 16. I asked here because I just noticed it when I installed your 616. Don't think I've upgraded Forestry in a while. <shrug> Just kinda silly is all.

Mod farms themselves are metagaming as hell anyway, and the reason iron golems don't spawn in the world any more. Blaming you for everything
Someone just make a "Mobs only drop the good stuff if you kill them" mob to crush all hopes and dreams and keep soul shard's use being weaponising chickens to take out enemy bases
The Emperor's Rage echoes through the hills. The Emperor's Strength grips this land with fists of iron. The Emperor's Courage burns everlasting. The Endless Army will crush the Emperor's foes.

Not really clear on what sense any of that made, but I'll take the bait. Mob farms are pretty much the ONLY productive reason to build huge, cool looking structures in Minecraft (at least, without certain mods.) Why you would want to take that out of a game based on building is beyond me - this is not a combat sim here.
It's not about metagaming. It's about the difference between this:

I build giant structures to have a crazy roller coaster running through my base. Which is why I have railcraft. Can't be a roller coaster without flinging carts everwhere
If I need blaze rods, I go, kill a blaze, and use them without any extra. We have different priorities in playing

I just updated Battered Old Stuff with textures for the Limiter Track, Locomotive Track, Whistle Track and Locomotive Detector. Also added a new texture for the mine cart.

I have an absolutely enormous mob spawner as well as the tier5 shards (hell I stuffed some of the shards in the spawner, I got the tier5 blaze shard from a vanilla style blaze spawner I constructed in the nether minus the crusher circuit as I really couldn't be bothered building that again) I built a MonkeyFarm style spawner with a few changes due to mods specifically for the drops you cannot get easily from a tier5 spawner (in my case endermen since I haven't been to the end yet) so for people like *me* whatever you do I'll break it since that is what *I* enjoy about games finding ways to utterly break the gameplay legitimately within the rules and balance of the game as it stands
Because A) it is very bad practice to kill the whole process the way he does (in 6.15 there wasn't even a log message) and frankly speaking, it should not be his business to verify other mods and to decide whether minecraft should run or not. He may deactivate RP related parts of HIS mod, but not stop the whole game.
With the way mods are designed they have the right to do so. If the developer of the mod requires certain mods for it to run or knows certain mods do not work with the mod a check can prevent from having to deal with incompatibility issues. If you do not like the way that the mod works then your best option would be to not use it.
What I was trying to say is that supplying constant power results in the embarking track only working once.
Um...nope. Works every time the cart passes over the track for me.

The wheels keep falling off my minecarts...
like make base value x,4 = ## and height = ###
would be awesome if this was added in

this means you have a non legit copy of redpower or have modified redpower in some way, why should he remove it?
