Chunk Generation Fail:
Because of corruption, our server wipes the Twilight Forest and even the Nether once a month. Which is good in a way for resource gathering because it is such a large server.
Bad server. Bad, Bad server.
** 1.6.4 tracks structure data in a separate file.
Make certain that you remove those files if you wipe the region / chunk data.
Otherwise, structures won't regenerate correctly. The easiest way to see this is that villages won't have smithy chests or villagers. I suspect that mineshafts won't have cave spider spawners or chest carts, and that nether forts won't have blaze spawners.
A much, much better idea: Figure out and solve the corruption.
Beyond that? You're complaining that you use a mod that reveals monsters, and that makes specials with monsters stand out? Remove that spoiler mod.
As for chunkgen slowness ... I don't know what to say.
If you're on a server, then the server needs to adjust its java settings.
If you're on a client, same thing. But it might not be the same settings.
On most of the spawned structures (Hollow Hill, Naga, Stronghold, Quest Ram, and even Ur-Ghast Towers) at the very center of the structure there is a chunk completly out of alignment.
Try deleting those structure files when you delete the chunks, see if that helps.

I too am having crashing issues when trying to use a magic map. I have Zans Mini map installed, will try it solo.PS, I find this mod is my favorite for its depth in biomes and structures as well as new mobs. If you had mounts I would be ecstatic! (i did push my donkey through the portal, but a native mystic unicorn, griffin, or such would be AWESOME!) Keep up the great work! Can't wait to see these towers get finished...
Does the Naga only spawn once per courtyard? I found a courtyard in a brand new Twilight Forest map, but no Naga spawned. I'd like to build inside the courtyard and I'm worried it may spawn once the server restarts. Does anyone have any idea?
I have, however, seen what looked like a monster spawner in the middle of a courtyard before the naga appeared, that disappeared once the naga did spawn, and returned once I left the area and let the naga go poof.
(This was using Optifine's zoom to look in from a long distance.)

Hey. I'm here to see if anyone can help me out - I'm having an issue with the Twilight Forest level rendering.
Here's my server log: http://pastebin.com/5M8PmWDp
And here's a screenshot of what happens when I jump through the portal:
I load up the server, it runs fine but shows that it could not find ThaumcraftAPI. I jump through the portal. The "Downloading terrain" screen shows. Then I get the view shown above. I can move a little to my left, but in other directions limited, like the blocks are loaded but just didn't render.
This server is a plain Forge install. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Yes i am, guessing that probably is the issue. I hate this incompatability minecraft has allot of times with the mods. Even after several years of minecraft this is still such an annoying issue.
it is not so much that, but the fact that modding isn't built into MC yet and forge has to be used to "hack" the game so it can do mods
and with all the bug fixes it changes code that was used by mods so they have to be tweaked to use the new code.
it is a cycle with all games that are in constant development. Just like any mod for an MMO.
if i create a new world on twilight forrest the game works fine but when i try to play the same world again minecraft crashes. it does this on every world i create. here is my crash report

In fact, I have discovered something else that is a surprise about 164. I don't know if this is true for all cases, or if this is just because of some mod interaction.
Trying to re-create the same world will not recreate villages, or thaumcraft taint chunks, with the same details.
The villages will be centered/started in the same spot, but will have different buildings and roads.
Thaumcraft taint will be in about the same area, but will infect different chunks around that area.

im having a bit of a problem where i have twilight forest on my server but when ever i try to place anything from TF onto my server it just disappears like it was never there
can you get into the TF dimension? it sounds like you didn't install it on the server properly but it is working on you client
im having a bit of a problem where i have twilight forest on my server but when ever i try to place anything from TF onto my server it just disappears like it was never there
1. Did you put it into the mods folder in server files?
2. What kind of server? Bukkit, Tekkit, and a few other MC servers I believe cannot host mods, only plugins designed for them.
good question. I translate this mod but when i add my .xml file, the mod don't load it ( i will post my file when the translation will be finished "fr_FR.xml" )
Benimatic needs updated language code and after mod can load language.
I had attempted to use this mod with many other mods. I had not had any issues until I installed this. I had gotten this error and I am unsure as to how to fix it.

the FML log doesn't show a crash, but the crash log shows an out of memory problem...you'll have to increase the memory..prob the perm gen memory...I think....I'm not 100% sure due to the use of MCPC+
either that or thaumacraft needs to be loaded after TF for some reason...
I had attempted to use this mod with many other mods. I had not had any issues until I installed this. I had gotten this error and I am unsure as to how to fix it.

Try deleting those structure files when you delete the chunks, see if that helps.

Would you really rather have bees that make diamonds and oil with magical genetic blocks?
... did I really ask that?
I have, however, seen what looked like a monster spawner in the middle of a courtyard before the naga appeared, that disappeared once the naga did spawn, and returned once I left the area and let the naga go poof.
(This was using Optifine's zoom to look in from a long distance.)

Thanks!
it is not so much that, but the fact that modding isn't built into MC yet and forge has to be used to "hack" the game so it can do mods
and with all the bug fixes it changes code that was used by mods so they have to be tweaked to use the new code.
it is a cycle with all games that are in constant development. Just like any mod for an MMO.
Also, I have bugs to report:
TF-18: Lich moves slowly
TF-19: Knight Phantoms attack you in creative
Please fix! Otherwise, awesome!

Tested with Modpack MagicFarm 1.1.4.

My problem is not encountered?
update TF to 1.20.3 and try again
can you get into the TF dimension? it sounds like you didn't install it on the server properly but it is working on you client that shows nothing helpful, we need either the FML-server-0.log file or the server's crash log.
1. Did you put it into the mods folder in server files?
2. What kind of server? Bukkit, Tekkit, and a few other MC servers I believe cannot host mods, only plugins designed for them.

Benimatic needs updated language code and after mod can load language.

the FML log doesn't show a crash, but the crash log shows an out of memory problem...you'll have to increase the memory..prob the perm gen memory...I think....I'm not 100% sure due to the use of MCPC+
either that or thaumacraft needs to be loaded after TF for some reason...
