this is a wonderful mod and I'm having a lot of fun with it. The only bug I've suffererd from is that for some reason Firefly jar textures don't show up properly when placed in the world, They look fine when held in your hand and the stopper texture shows up as do the fire fly it just gives the glass the "missing texture".
This new version cleans up a few different things. First, there are tweaks to the Ur-ghast fight which should make the function of the traps clearer. Second, the four magic trees should be functional and have final artwork. Third, there are new "leaf dungeons" in the leaves of the hollow oak trees, that contain various treasures, including saplings for the new trees. Fourth, of course, I fixed most of the reported bugs. Thanks to everyone reporting them.

I do hope this includes the Naga scale armor bug..I really love that armor....dl-ing now.
OH yeah!!!! thanks for the update and the fixes...diamonds for you
dark tower height issue....I'm using the last version of this mod for 1.4.7 and found my first dark tower...unfort it went all the way up to the map height limit with no boss...was this fixed in later versions or do I need to extend the height limit of my maps?
oh, btw. Are you going to add in ROUS's to the fire swamp? they'd make an awesome mob.
The only things I'd like to see in this mod are, a mob in the dark forest, just a pair of floating red eyes, they don't attack, but when you look at them, they disappear, some sounds for the dark forest, like faint whispering, and howls, the only other thing would be a lake biome, that when you get close, spawns a Kraken boss. Good job, this mod is definitely the best dimension based mod I've played.
Pardon my stupidity, but can someone tell me how to clear or reset a maze map? It's infused with the maze data but it seems extremely expensive to craft a new one.
anybody know how to fix this? minecraft 1.4.7 twilight forest version 1.15.4

(In regard to a mod that gives realistic animal genetics):
Would you really rather have bees that make diamonds and oil with magical genetic blocks?
... did I really ask that?
is there hidden spawners for carminite ghastguards or any possible way to keep them from spawning? im trying to turn a dark tower into my base and there starting to spawn like crazy.
I was wondering if you regenerated the forest (deleted DIM7) would that create whole new terrain? or would that be similar to the Nether in that new features would be added but it'd look the same?
Basically I'm updating 1.4.7 to 1.5.1 and was wondering if regenerating would get the Ur-Ghast stuff to spawn
You should add an ice cave of some sort to the glacier biome. Maybe with a yeti, or ice dragon inside. The boss drop would be some kind of ice sword. I think it would be a good idea, because glacier biomes seem kind of pointless.
had the same issue until I updated to the latest optifine patch.
So this confirms that it's Optifine's fault! I can rest easy now knowing the criminal has been identified xD
(I don't even know what's wrong with me, don't ask :P)
We need a Naga outside of the twilight forest, as part of a video script.
I'm pretty sure I can toss a mystcraft crystal portal between me and it, to force it to teleport elsewhere. The big question is, will it work? Should it work? Since the Naga is a boss monster, and from what I understand, world-unique, I don't know how to test it without eliminating it; equally, I don't want it to despawn for being more than 32 (64?) blocks away while wandering around.
Now for the fun part: It'll be teleported into a large underground cavern. We don't mind it destroying walls as it runs around and fights us -- we actually want that. I'm just concerned as to: will it work? Will the AI be happy being underground with people around it to attack, or will it want to flee up to around 32 (where it thinks "ground" is), or up to 64 (where the world it will be in thinks "ground" is)? Will it be able to climb back up, or will it risk going down the "hill" at the bottom of the cavern that leads to the bedrock jumble, and if so, will it destroy the bedrock and/or fall out of the world?
(I know, what is really needed is a "spawn naga" egg ...)
Has to be made to work in 147; we can change the version of TF installed if needed.
There is a naga spawn egg available in creative mode (or with /give). The naga is not unique per world. When it's created by the spawner, it's set with a home position and boundries. When it's spawned with an egg, I think it's free-roaming. In either case, it should head to the Y position of whatever it has aggro on. I guess what I'm saying is that it should be working how you like, try it out.
So on the server that I play on we have an interesting bug. No matter what setting we appear to turn off and on again or how many times we delete and let the twilight forest regenerate itself, we get a world completely devoid of any dungeon.
We have turned structures off and on
We have turned NPCs off and on
Dimension wipes have happened (the entire folder just POOF gone) after every attempt. But we can not get the forest to generate with a dungeon in it. The domes still show up but are completely empty except for normal ore spawn. There are just big patches of grass where it looks like the mazes should be.
is there anything else we can try? When we run in single player and make a twilight portal it works fine on our clients. I am just out of things to try at this point in time.
This has got to be a bad interaction with another mod, but I have no idea which one. It sounds like something is preventing the structures from spawning but I'm not sure what could do that.
dark tower height issue....I'm using the last version of this mod for 1.4.7 and found my first dark tower...unfort it went all the way up to the map height limit with no boss...was this fixed in later versions or do I need to extend the height limit of my maps?
oh, btw. Are you going to add in ROUS's to the fire swamp? they'd make an awesome mob.
Ugh, I thought I did the math right so that the towers always ended up around the correct height. I'll have to check it again.
I like the idea of ROUSes and I may add them at some point.
Those are pretty good ideas. There already is a lake biome. I'm still thinking about what I may add to it.
god this isn't fixed when going through the portal updated version of it still takes long for it to say downloading terrain and crash (report bellow)

in the mean time can someone tell me how to put my player back in the overworld since im stuck in the error there from the files in minecraft
I haven't seen that error before. It looks like something's trying to generate two chunks at once. It could be Optifine's multi-chunk option, or it might be something else.
You can move your player back to the overworld with a tool like NBTEdit to change your dimension number back to 0.
Bug-Report:
Magic Tree Leaves drops incorrect Saplings.
No Magi Tree Saplings...
The magical trees aren't supposed to drop saplings. They're powerful, and my intention was to make them not farmable. I'll have to stop them from dropping the wrong saplings. Thanks for the report.
Ok turns out I can't clear a Maze/Ore Map once it's been focussed in 1.17. Which makes it rather expensive and redundant. Pity.
That was a balance issue. With proper use, it's not hard to get far more resources from the maze/ore map than the creation costs. It was overpowered when it was easily refreshable. Additionally, being able to easily refresh the maze map made finding more maze map focuses not interesting.
anybody know how to fix this? minecraft 1.4.7 twilight forest version 1.15.4

I usually saw that one when someone had installed the file for Rei's minimap on the server, but not the forge-compatible file.
Star wars forest...... I wonder if you ever thought of a fallen star dungeon ...bright glowing block with magma/lava pumping out of the ground and a swath of missing blocks from the path it fell.
Who knows what mutagen has effected the local life has it spawned hostile deermen boarmen and birdmen with the super ravenclaw king as it master? Only time will tell......who knows maybe the rabbit people that fled know the tale.

If I recall the old list, the start was something like
small hollow hill
hedge maze
medium hollow hill
naga
but after that, I don't remember ,and there's a lot of new stuff since then.

No, but if you just want to get rid of one without fighting it, you can go into peaceful difficulty for a few seconds.
