I have honestly deleted my .exe file as well as my Roaming>minecraft file like four times trying to get this mod... HELP!?!?!! Do I need a specific file.. I downloaded the minecraft forge, 7-zipped it into the .minecraft folder, deleted meta-INF, created "mods" folder in Minecraft folder, opened up the game, began a new world, deleted the twoXtwo box into the ground, surrounded it by flowers, got a bucket of water, filled in one side of the 2x2 box, then tossed in a diamond and not one thing happens... what am I doing wrong?
I had the same problem as well... the game would work.. i just couldn't make a portal and I didn't see any extra items in my inventory like there would be if I downloaded and other one. and I even deleted my other mod just incase that was the problem...
Great job with the Hydra. I also wondered if you put the lava swamp back in? One suggestion as well, rather just a thought. Maybe have a very very rare chance of the Hydra dropping a hydra egg upon death? Pour lava on it to hatch and have a baby hydra follow you around. Just an idea. Lastly, what are those obsidian spires for? The ones with the lapis on top.
I just wanted to thank everyone for all the advice and help you provided on fixing my server. I ended up starting from scratch and did a bit of trouble shooting and it ended up being the version of Forge I was using. I converted back to Forge 3.3.8.152 and everything works like a charm. Thank you for this amazing mod Benimatic! I look forward to exploring it soon once I get the final version of my server up and running.
He's using forge though, not JAR installation. So perhaps he should do a JAR installation c: (although I'm not sure how you went about installing it in the JAR, since it's supposed to be for forge...just dragged and dropped into the JAR like a normal JAR mod?)
Yes. For 1.2.5, they both worked as jar mods, even using forge. There was no requirement for TF to be in the mod folder, and mystcraft needs to be in the jar. So I put both in, and they both worked.
(In regard to a mod that gives realistic animal genetics):
Would you really rather have bees that make diamonds and oil with magical genetic blocks?
... did I really ask that?
This mod has conflicting IDs with the Metallurgy mod... which is weird, because Forge is supposed to prevent that, right?

Uh, how many Forge mods do you have?
As far as I know, Forge makes Block IDs go up to 4095...which you appear to have reached.
Admittedly, I don't know really know Forge, but I believe it merged in the 4096 Block IDs mod.
THIS. MOD. IS. EPIC. It is so far my favorite mod. I like having dynamic lights with this when I go through the really dark forests.
Wait, you got Dynamic Lights to work?
I can't get it to work.
It simply doesn't do anything in the Forest, for some reason.
Works fine in the Overworld, though.
I was hoping this would work with Timber! but I guess not.*
Something I noticed: I found a ruin with a Druid spawner, but there were a couple of fires around it. Not sure what caused the fires, but there weren't any druids because of it (due to the light level).
Unfortunately, I saw almost no hostile mobs. I think it's a problem on my end; there were a lot of glow flowers from TooManyPlants, which probably upped the light level a little too much.
I don't know how to do it, but deer need a noise apart from cows.
Are you planning to have deer and boars become hostile once attacked? Minecraft's cute widdle barnyard animals are nice and all, but in the wild the things you have would be dangerous, especially boars.
Edit: It does work fine with Timber!, but doesn't result in a cascade of twilight wood etc. I guess I should've clarified that.
Which also reminds me--I was hoping to have twilight wood planks, etc. The wood looks really cool; making a house and/or furniture out of it would be really neat.
on the third episode of SCMowns2's let's play of this mod, what's that big sheep for, the one you find in the middle of a bunch of stone arch ruins (on which, one has a dispenser that fires colored wool)? It followed him while he was holding some black wool. It looks like a sheep that has lightning drawn on the wool and on it's hooves.
I am having a problem with this mod... I have no problem making the portal, but when I jump in, the game gets stuck saying "Downloading Terrain." I haven't actually waited more than a minute or two, but how long should it load for?
Also, here are the mods that I am using, just in case any of them aren't compatible with your mod:
In minecraft.jar:
Forge (always kept up-to-date using the recommended version, so don't bother asking what version I'm using) TooManyItems
Thanks for making the wiki public! Also, I'm not sure if anyone else has made this suggestion, but I think that the boar should be made neutral mobs rather than passive, and fight back when attacked. It would make them more interesting than just re-skinned pigs, and also more realistic. Wild boar in real life do not take kindly to being shot, either with arrows or bullets, and they will mess you up if you let them get too close.
EDIT: Additional information:
1. It is repeatable in the sense that logging back in, and letting the graphics be drawn, results in the same error.
2. Stoppping the server, and then restarting the server, let me log in, and move around for a bit. However, after about 40-80 seconds, it happened again.
EDIT 3: Still happens with optifine removed. The null entity list seems to be the cause; it only happens inside TF.

use the mcpatcher version, it works for every mod I ever installed it with and all new snapshots. you don't need the forge version unless there is some reason you absolutely can't use mcpatcher, and I can't think of any config that would happen, even if you use magic launcher or something you should be able to patch first and load that with ML.
THIS. MOD. IS. EPIC. It is so far my favorite mod. I like having dynamic lights with this when I go through the really dark forests.
+1, dynamic lights is a must have for this, or any other world mod really. makes exploring dark forest and hills/caves so much better, and you can add all the torchberry/firefly items to work with it as well.
1. Twilight wood -- with the exception of darkwood leaves -- all wood types, all other leaf types -- seem to have much higher burn rates than vanilla wood. Lighting a tree on fire removes more wood blocks, and seems to make much bigger vertical jumps than I'm used to seeing. (This is 132, and I'm comparing to 125's burn rates).
2. Darkwood leaves ... why are they fireproof? Yes, I know, game balance, makes it too easy, but still, what's the justification for saying that I can burn down all the wood holding it up, all the undergrowth of oak/etc., and those leaves just sit there, completely opaque, not decaying, not burning, etc?
3. OMG, that treasure, all those minerals/ores/mining stuff! Mystcraft dense ores has nothing on you -- I can't even make a skyland or cave world as rich as that. And you don't decay on me. OMG, and it isn't even excessive or abusing -- what was that thing(s?) guarding it? IIck, how do I kill it, or was I just really unlucky?
