Well, for starters, several mods have yet to be updated to 1.6, which keeps a good number of people on 1.5.2 for right now. Others may not see a need to update due to any number of reasons, such as not being interested in the changes, or just preferring a specific version.
Let's not forget that there are still several people who still play on 1.4.7, and even versions prior to that. The reasons one has to not upgrade doesn't make a difference.
I'm not asking for AbrarSyed to halt development or to not come out with a 1.6.2 update. I don't expect him, or any developer to backtrack through previous versions just for small updates. However, he's already made it clear that he'swilling to do an update for 1.5.2, so why be selfish and demand it only be for 1.6.2 when he could simply update for both versions and make everyone happy?

I had a GREAT IDEA!!! What about 1-way Ghost Blocks. EX: able to go through the back through to the front, but you cant walk in from the front top bottom or sides, only the back, to make dangerous trap, or some awesome secrets things. reply if you thinks this is cool or have questions.

To clarify (I think) one-way glass that is solid on the front (and ghost-block on the other sides)... I can see the merit in such a thing, but not a lot... I'm not against the idea by any means (thinking about the idea of basically a one-way door that once you leave you cant come back... like a maze-exit) I may be wrong, but I think that would take a lot to program...

correct... this would be extremely difficult if not impossible to make. However this can currently be done with the existing ghost blocks.
#1) place ghost blocks so that they copy OneWay blocks
#2) place secret redstone under and on the sides of the ghost blocks in a U shape
#3) put a secretPressurePlate on the side of the where you wish people to not go through
badoom. When people step on the pressure plate, the redstone is activated and solidifies the ghost blocks, effetively doing what you want.
Downlaod is down?
2/7/2013 8:25 PM Central Standard Time USA NO, ITS NOT DOWN! SO apperantly, the redirect links I have (the reccomended and latest builds) have been borken. I host the files on the Forge file server, which was recently moved to new hardware. Everything is not up and running just yet. For the meantime, this is how you download. The reccomended 1.5.1. Click the OldBuilds downlaod link. Grab Build 4.6.0.283 If you want the very latest, get the one from the top of the list.
This method still works. For 1.5.2, you'll want version 4.6.1.286.

I think revealing goggles will be overpowered. I like the idea of dusts, but being able to permanently see other peoples secrets kind of defeats the point of having secrets. maybe only have the goggles work for the secrets you have placed / your team has placed (minecraft scoreboards allows teams) configurable for admins/ in single player

Doesn't seem like you really read the information about these things.
ok people.. lemme kill the argments about different revealing goggles now, with what I plan on implementing.
1) revealing dust
This is a dust that will temporarily reveal all the secret blocks arround in 3 block radius. Whether they are yours or not. This is not gonna be cheep, I assure you, and its gonna be quite fast too, like 3 seconds of reveal. Think about it like a glimpse of insight. Thus, its borderline useless for people that may want spam it everywhere they go and hope to find something.
I plan on making this "revealing" stuff configureable compeltely.. maybe put all my recipes into configs to be editted.
Everything will be configurable. Server admins will be able to disable these items should they want to, and will also have a command to use that will reveal everyone's blocks - for admin purposes, of course.
(In regard to a mod that gives realistic animal genetics):
Would you really rather have bees that make diamonds and oil with magical genetic blocks?
... did I really ask that?
but what if you wanted to use the solid air block or use hard to obtain blocks? make a booby trapped diamond block house maybe? The idea is you could build any structure with only a few blocks. it wont have the properties of the blocks however.
Well, the point of the mod really isnt to make building expensive looking stuff easier... Its to hid the things that are important to you. I will not be adding a dummy camo block just so you can make lookalikes for stuff.
I have a question about the camo pressure plates. Are villagers supposed to be able to interact with them? I keep finding villagers spinning in circles on top of them, and I dont know why, but it looks kinda creepy. And it seems to be preventing them from actually getting to the door to open it, so once they get inside a house, they cant get out. They just congregate in front of the door, spinning in those circles.

Diamonds for you if you include this!
I just worry that this might be VERY hard to do

Click on Old Versions, then download version 4.6.1.286.

Couldn't you just put down a block that actually is that texture? Not sure I really understand the point of a camouflage block that's just a block.
