I got a very entertaining game for you. Its called the derp game. Take a toothpick and gently place it between your big toe nail and the flesh of your toe... then kick a wall with that foot as hard as possible...
I've found a bug with the FPS++ mod (using the version 1.1.0 of Minecraft):
Even though I'm using a custom skin uploaded through Minecraft.net, it seems that the FPS++ mod shows the default player skin. It changes to match the texture pack's default player skin, if a texture pack is selected. It won't show the custom skin. (Note: this is using the non-testing version, the one that changes math functions)
I can just leave the mod out, and it's simply fixed...but I thought I'd report this.
I can confirm it is FPS++, since I tested with it being the only mod.
Short: For 1.1.0, FPS++ doesn't let you use custom player skins, only default.
I was wondering if you could add a link to the 1.0.0 versions of your height mod (along with the Caves and Ores fix). The Old Versions spoiler at the end of the OP does not list it. Of course, I'm assuming that a 1.0.0 version exists. Pardon me if I'm wrong.

a request for credit from vatec probably would not have solved this ??....

Yeah...not trying to confrontational here, but if you get other Height mods taken down, you need to keep yours updated. Currently, it barely works. Old worlds can't even be played.
Just really shafts the players who want a height mod when you won't even talk to us, let alone fix anything.
Im also not trying to be confrontational here. but fishtaco isnt payed to mod minecraft we "players" have no right to demad anything from him, what he does for us and when he does it is his choice.
he has a life outside mincraft aswell you know... for all we know he could be ill in hospital, or he could have a loveone he is needing to care for, perhaps his pc has died and he cant affort a replacement, you get my point im sure.

The complaint there was about how other height mods were taken down by fishtaco and he hasn't been making any progress (also to anyone who wants to know how to get this height mod working propperly, learn to use mcedit and copy and paste a 6000x6000 size world into a new 256 height world... then you get the right proportions without screwups.
But back to my main point, regardless of who you want to argue or feel indignant towards please read their statment propperly first and make an accurate reply.
Personally I don't care, I am aware of fishtaco's stance on some things and therefore I have taken his code and worked it into a better solution for myself and bukkit but I shant be spreading it because that is his wish and I honestly don't care much for some of the minecraft community due to their constant whining.
The server version of the Stronghold fix seems to be missing (the OP indicates there's supposed to be one, but the provided file doesn't change anything, I checked).
Jeb plans to increase default world height to 256. Terrain will stay exactly the same (sea level at 64, cap on generation at a little under 128) but there will be an extra 128 blocks of sky.
And as always, the awesomest of awesome times are being had trough you HeightMod. It changes everything!

512 in theory would be the sweet spot, but when you try it you get this:
The map is very small (doesn't generate new chunks) and horribly sliced. It works in single player but not multiplayer...
