Possibly. I had to modify the way lang files are loaded for 1.6. ResourceLocations, you know. I might use incorrect encoding there (should be UTF-8). However, russian locale works, and it is written in UTF-8. (Cyrillic is not in ASCII, so the encoding matters very much here)

- Cacti are funky (black on side faces)
- Swords break blocks in creative; they should not(changed in 1.6.2 as a convenience feature)
- Hearts do not flash white when regenerating health
ok I figured out how to reproduce the sound bug, well, kinda actually... if you fire a bow it may happen but this is occasional and the whole game turns silent

What did you do before that? And the new launcher has a nice log (Yay! I will not have to ask for MCPatcher logs anymore. :)). Does it have any exceptions in it? If it does, post them all here.

I don't see reason to keep gear block anyway. I think it causes more bugs, usually. Meh, it's just my opinion.

Since I can remember that that block causes some kind of problem, so yeah, for the bug (?). The name is alright, after all it's not intended to be used as a building block.

As for Spanish locale bug: I can't reproduce it. However, I noticed that I forgot to force UTF-8 in it. It's probably fixed now.
