The more I tinker and play with TConstruct, the more I realize how much of a tech mod it actually is. It was not my intention to create such. All I wanted was a replacement for InfiTools that didn't use nearly as many item IDs. These things tend to take on a life of their own...
This part interests me a lot, because I have many mods that use many items IDs. If it doesn't use more than 15000 IDs, I'll definitely use this mod (again) when it's ready.
I've also been talking with some of the IC2 devs. One of the modifications for tools will be an electric battery and a circuit; you'll be able to use ALL of them like electric tools at the expense of a modification slot.
Whats coming next, obsidian tipped ice IC2 drills with lapotronic energy storage and a tartarite(metallurgy metal) handle? Or maybe an emerald studded diamond chest plate with batpack capabilities and a natural thorns type enchantment? Maybe even more bastion weapons? Gloves that allow you to shoot fireballs out of your fists? How about thaumium overclocker upgrades? The location of waldo? the number of licks to the center of a tootsie pop? the world may never know!
I would like to congratulate you on such a brilliant mod. I always use, and love it to death. Just advertise it a bit more and it could be big. You obviously put a lot of effort into it and I thank you. Keep it coming.

i kinda wish the new tools would be working for 1.4.5 lol but oh well i gotta wait to update or for after a major update x3 i cant wait to see what you will be adding

Netherrack - Right click to take away hunger(hearts if you want) to repair your tool, removes the swords blocking functionality ( Cannot be applied to hoes )
The direction TConstruct is taking me is outside the realm of InfiCraft... it doesn't fit in with the theme - a bunch of random mods that do random things under one roof - and the purpose behind it is different. I'll be starting up a new thread later, one with some cohesion and a unified experience.

So in my previous post, are you talking how many of those armor/tool things are you going to implement, the one i am looking forward to is different ic2 drills, and custom energy storage modifiers, such as lapotrons.

I'm sure some of you will know what this means. The tools will still work once they run out of energy, they will drain durability instead.
