Hey now that this mod is sort of picking up steam again i figured I would post this for all the people that didn't get it the first time I posted it, Its just a simple graphics edit where it turns the old sprites into newer sprites.
That said, Sea has said many times that he isn't going to go beyond the first 151 pokemon. But he will allow us to add new pokemon to the mod.
So Black and White pokemon are a possibility, as are the other regions.
Once the mod's full release is done, I reckon a subforum is going to go up on the Pokemobs site for this, for people to post models/other details for their creations for the rest of the fan base to download. There might even be a voting system for the most popular models, which can then be grouped into content packs as downloadable addons to the mod with their respective generations.

The Pokemon development team are running out of ideas for new generations, and it shows in the amount of effort that's going into new designs/naming... the games don't have the same feel as they used to, and from what I've heard the anime's the same way. They should have turned to improving their combat mechanics and whatnot a long time ago; the way they're going, it just looks like they're milking their brand name to get more sales.
People who got into the games after the first/second generation likely have no issue with the quality because they haven't been following the games from the first release (no, that's not meant to be offensive), and so the quality improvement they expect from later games hasn't been tested as sorely. Those of us who were playing back when Red, Blue and Yellow were released are getting bored/frustrated with the new releases. There's some small glimmer of hope remaining that they'll change their development structure to actually improve their existing content rather than adding more, but we all know it's unlikely to happen.
Else we wouldn't need mods like this to get proper multiplayer content for Pokemon games.
