to be really honest,
i feel this mod adds an adventure feel to the survival theme of minecraft and a lot of elements don't fit.
one in particiular the way you made dungeons,in original world dungeons were simply just a monster spawner in cobblestone. but dungeons here are like an objective to make you the best and strongest with each having a boss at the end, maybe you should also revanmp the normal world as well as nether, maybe like boss monsters like the gian thats still in the code... jus saying
I certainly hope so that will be the case, ShockAhPI makes all of the mods I use incompatible with the Aether. It is an awesome mod yes, but I like other mods as well.
It's funny, but I won't actually be using this. I respect all the work that's been put into it and I'd like to use it, but I've got a few mods I really don't want to part with. With any luck it'll start being treated as if it were vMC and we'll be able to have our cake and ice cream at the same time.
Edit: That first part may be a lie. I can always just swap back and forth between .jars, right? Right? :biggrin.gif:
omg its finaly here!!!!!! :biggrin.gif: :biggrin.gif: :biggrin.gif: :biggrin.gif: :biggrin.gif: :biggrin.gif: :biggrin.gif: :biggrin.gif: :biggrin.gif:

I've been waiting so long for this mod and i just made an account to ask one question. I know i installed the mod correctly with modloader and all that other stuff. But for some reason i dont get stuff when i break blocks? i dont know if theres something you need to make BEFORE you can get stuff but for me to have a house either in the Nether, real world or Aether, i've had to use TooManyItems! SOMEONE HELP ME!
Arghhh! Better Than Wolves or Aether? Which one? I can't decide. I'm going to explode. HELP!

If you're worried about mod conflicts and can't choose between aether and a conflicting mod, you can use multiple jars and switch between them, depending on what you're feeling up to at the moment. I use this method all the time to switch between different mods, different versions of minecraft, and all of that. I wonder if there's a good mod manager out there that allows for one to also easily swap out save directories as well as jars.
