I want to at loot from other mods to your battletowers config file, but it doesn't work. I'm using 1.7.10 and I want to add: Millenaire, Lots 'o Mobs and Biomes 'o Plenty to the config file but it doesn't work.
There isn't an error or something like that, the loot won't get in the chest.
I tested this IDs:
Millenaire; 4199 and millenaire.items.ml_denier and those IDs don't work.
LoM; lom:Horn and Horn and those IDs don't work as well.
Can you help me and give the correct IDs or give a tip what I'm doing wrong?
Many thanks!
Make sure you have the newest version from the website. There was a bug where you couldn't add loot from other mods until just recently.
That being said your formatting should be like this:
millenaire:items.ml_denier-0-70-2-4;
0 is the metadata, 70% chance to spawn a stack of 2-4 denier
I'm using 1.7.10, forge_1.7.10_1208 and I used exactly the same ID like you said. I know how to add and change things in the config file. I tested it out with sponge before, and it worked. But when I'm using modded loot, it won't work.
The forge version shouldn't matter. Download the newest version of battletowers for 1.7.10 straight from atomicstryker.net
Any way of turning off the building explosion after defeating the boss on the top of the tower.?
every time I beat the boss on the top of the tower, It blows up and takes everything with it.
not letting me get my rewards thats in the chest.
And the items the boss drops on the floor, gets destroyed as well from the building explosions.
so im left with nothing, after earning my way to the top.
I set 'True' to this line of code -->> [B:noGolemExplosions=true]
But the config is not respecting it. - Did I change the correct line ??
a bit frustrating.

Windows 7 x64-bit SP-1 - MC v1.7.10 - Forge 10.13.4.1517 - CodeChickenCore v1.0.7.47 - NEI v1.0.5.118 - (MultiMC v5.0.4.8)
I'm running a small server with the mod and twice now whenever the golem at the top of a tower has been defeated he falls over, turns red/pink, and keeps attacking. I haven't had the server up very long so I don't know if this happens every time or not.
Can someone help me? When I play minecraft in hexxit when i open the chests they are all empty. Does anyone know why?
I'm assuming your running the new version of hexxit. 3.0.c or whatever it is now. That's something they haven't fixed in the pack yet. There was a problem in one of the previous version of the mod where you couldn't put loot from other mods in the towers. I'm not sure if they've updated to the version that works yet or not. It's also entirely possible that they messed up on txt formatting somewhere in the config file and it broke look generation for all towers.
Compared to a normal variable floors idea, you would instead cause the tower to begin exploding from the bottom up, once the first golem bites the dust, racing to the top for the rest of the chests, and a second golem.
Assuming that regeneration option I recall seeing while reading through this thread is still around, you could tie that into the death of the second golem, to allow 'safe' passage back down, as the tower starts exploding from the top afterwards.
Secondary request(s); could you add a config option to allow the tower explosion to be tied to opening the top chest, instead of the golem being defeated?
Main reason is to make it feasible to reach it if the golem fight ends up crashing through a few floors as you fall-back, as it is somewhat disheartening to know that once the golem has pierced two floors, the top chest is pretty much gone.
If that would be too hard, perhaps a config for the timer before the explosion chain begins?
Lastly, a big thank you to how great the mod is currently. With an, arguably overpowered, config file, it has really added a fun alternative to get a moderate amount of resources.
The ruins of all of the towers laying around is really just icing on the cake, adding a wonderful variety to the landscape. (They make wonderful outposts, or future battle-grounds against other mod bosses.)
How can I add modded stuff to the config file? I'm using the 1.7.10 version of your Battletowers mod and I used all of the possible IDs for the modded loot but it won't work. I tested 4199 and millenaire.items.ml_denier and those IDs don't work. lom:Horn and Horn didn't work too. Please, help me! I downloaded your latest version of Battletowers but that didn't work as well... There should be a possibility but I can't find one on the internet, I hope you know how I can fix it because I can finish my modpack. =)
Use 'millenaire:item.ml_denier' instead of 'millenaire.items.ml_denier'.
No clue for the other one.
I recommend using Not Enough Item's dumping feature (both items and blocks). Wonderfully simple and quick way to browse for what you need.
Hello Atomic im new to this whole forum post thing. i just installed your BattleTowers mod and it wouldnt work i searched up videos on how to fix it and checked the instructions 5 times literally. and it keeps on crashing on me and i would get this (sorry but i just made this account and dont know how to make a spoiler tag)

@Womb
Delete your configs, they should re-generate fixed
@highway
The last guy having this type of crash had tower distance set so low they infinitely stacked on each other. You have an infinite loop happening
I'm using this mod in my modpack but I want to change the loot I tried to use some vanilla loot and it worked but when I tried modded items it didn't work so can you help?
