This mod is compatible with 1.4.7, there's a 1.4.6 version from another member a few pages back. Flammarilva stopped development of this mod, and it has been taken up by the member who has been updating it. Honestly, he should be given permissions to control the thread, and update the title to indicate its version, because most of these 400 pages seem to be people requesting an update to the mod(despite it already being updated, it's not indicated except in the posts by the guy updating the mod.)

I have installed a fresh version of Minecraft. Did a first run, updated to 1.4.7 and then closed it down and installed Forge.

I then downloaded [SSP/SMP][1.3.2]Fossil / Archeology [v6.9 P-4] and then downloaded the 1.4.6 update.

I unzipped the original mod, put it into the mod folder and then put the updated files into the mod_Fossil folder.

When I run Minecraft I login, get the Mojang screen then its just black. I have removed the mojang files out of the META_INF in the minecraft.jar file. THat didn't work. I then deleted the whole META_INF folder. THat didn't work either.

Is there any other fix I can try?

Some said that flammarilva died O.o

will flammarliva return?

Hokay guys i have read up on this and i have the update i just added it to the folder and it works find up untill mojang apears on the screen then it freezes for a bit and i get this crash.

i think DrZhark (the guy from mo' creatures mod) should adopt this mod.

so what happened to the original owner is this new update unofficial?

It is updated to 1.4.6. BTW This is a great mod and I would love if Liopleurodon was in it.

Tried it on Minecraft/Forge 1.4.7 works like a charm... but I cannot seem to get eggs to hatch, does anybody happen to know the requirements for hatching?

you need torches or other sources of light but the mod is meant for 1.4.6 forge and minecraft

I found one a few days ago on another site where its probably not supposed to be so I wont repost the link, but considering the OP hasnt fixed his links yet then its not like we have a choice just google fossil archeology 1.2.5, its on OLGH.com

Going to try out the latest version right now, again a little more clarification that its been updated to 1.4.6 would be helpful. The main link isnt working on that one either.

It is unofficially updated to 1.4.6, it will work on 1.4.7 of both Minecraft and Forge.

well if the eggs aren't working then obviously it doesnt work completely in 1.4.7 since its made for 1.4.6 it probably can work but with loads of bugs since it was made to work with 1.4.6 and to over come the 1.4.6 bugs not the 1.4.7 bughttp://www.minecraft...0#entry20073204 try this
