The crops with an option to turn them into seeds if I need them. Wish the flax in Redpower was like that..I get so many flax seeds I just stick them into my IC2 recycler. :smile.gif:

Thanks for letting me know your opinion. I really like the idea myself. =)
I'm having a problem with the colored smoothstone setting, it constantly sets itself back to true whenever I restart minecraft.
As I said on the EarthCraft website, which I'm going to assume you also took the time to read, that the option up top, near the ### will always say true. It is set to whatever you have as the boolean at the bottom of the .cfg file. This has been tested many times.
I love earthcraft! it adds alot of interesting colors to the caves of my minecraft world, but i was wondering: could you please update it to use the ore dictionary so i can use copper and tin and bronze and steel with other mods that add similear items? thanks!
edit: was also wondering if the colored gems could be in some way crafted into traditional dyes? ive got alot of times when i need to dye something from a mod and conclude "well, i cant use these rubies to make red clay soldiers! i guess i'll go hunt some roses" or something. thanks for reading at least.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it! Ore Dictionary compatibility is already planned and has been asked for many times now. ^^
Not producing seeds means it's not self sufficent and means any sort of automated farm becomes much more complex to bring seeds back into the system.
Actually, it means it would be easier to automate everything if that is your 'thing'. Just add in a step to turn 10% of the produce back into seed via the automatic crafting table in Buildcraft.

Sending a small percent back into the system is significantly involved with base buildcraft, sending them all is easy, anything else requires redstone logic circuitry,
I love the harvestcraft mod! But for some reason all the textures are white for me?
EDIT: I rushed through everything and forgot the pam folder file XP

Can someone help me with the textures? I installed everything right but the textures are always default wooden planks, I've tried many different texture packs (including Painterly) but its always just default. I saw someone with the textures matching with their texture pack but I can never get mine to work. If someone could that would be great.

I realize I am a bit out of shape because I haven't played any click intense games lately...but we really should discuss the amount of clicking it requires to make some of the items in Harvestcraft.
The biggest issue I think comes from recipes that require ''buckets' of stuff per combine. Now..admittedly...I have it lucky as I managed to build Clover's pen in my underground kitchen...complete with watering pool and grass. So all I have to do is turn around and wait for Clover, my cow; to walk to the fence. So that's not so bad. But...buckets don't stack. Bucket of Milk, Bucket of Water.
Not sure if I am 'different', but I don't make one food item at a time. I make a stack....and then go do other things...like improve my EU generation for my IC2 Machines, or jaunt down into my mine and clean out all the slimes, or go make pottery in my Kiln. Just making something simple like a cheese burger. The bread part is annoying. You have to have a bucket of water PER dough. Which means not only a ton of clicking (as you have to full that bucket up tons of times) but if your source isn't like right there...you have to either have a ton of buckets on you or you have to run back and forth from your well..pond..river..ocean to get more...for each dough. I usually try to make a stack of 20 per game session (Before I log out. ) So I don't have to do it when I log in the next day to play. So to make just 20 cheese burgers I have to make 40 dough and then 20 cheese. For the dough, that means I need to click that bucket out of the crafting table, switch to it and fill it up...then put it back into the crafting table and move one salt and one flour...40 times. And then the cheese...lol.. :smile.gif: By the time I am done..my hand hurts. :tongue.gif: I suppose it's just because I am getting older..I dunno. hehe
Wouldn't it be more practical to get more then one use per bucket of liquid. I mean, it IS a bucket FULL of liquid. A bucket of water combined with the like amount of other ingredients would surely create more the one bread loaf worth of dough. Or, if measuring is needed...perhaps allow one bucket of liquid to make x cups of the same liquid. (Only the cups would stack) Just brainstorming. This is actually the first time I am using Harvestcraft. I usually get intimidated by the sheer amount of things to make...and things you have to grow and don't mess with it much. Now that I have delved into playing with it, I really like it, just wish it were a bit more steamlined.
So anyhow's, hope your weekend is awesome. Would love to see of teasers of anything you are working on.
Yeah, I even just tried to reinstall it, but there still default. I hope you didn't miss understand what I said. What I meant was that the textures were there and they were not just white blocks, but they won't link up with my texture pack. Assuming that is possible.
Thanks for letting me know your opinion. I really like the idea myself. =)
Just wondering--why would it be annoying? I mean, you use the crafting table for lots of other things...

Thank god someone followed the directions. It's actually very simple just drag it into the .jar and the minecraft folder.
Edit: atleast i think it doesnt :/
Its bottle + olive, right?
Crafting Table
Oxx

o = olive, b = bottle
It doesn't spit out olive oil. :C
