I'm speaking of a fix for the mod failing to play sounds like FoodDraw and CaveRumble. Check my post on the last page for details
From what I understand , press F7 to add sounds and manipulate conditions . You still need to get some sound samples that you would like to use . I think the base code is working as is
So is this mod dead? The DL page still says most mods aren't for 1.7, but they are already being made for 1.8. The page hasnt changed in at least a year, and the last comment was 4 years ago
Hi all,
Most won't know me, but I'm a long-time fan of this mod, so I've updated it to run on Minecraft 1.8.
Disclaimers:
This is not an official release what-so-ever.
I've tested it to the extent that it runs, and soundpacks seem to work - there may be quirks that I don't know about yet.
As with any mod you choose to run, you do so at your own risk. I can try to help if there are any issues, but this is not my mod and I am not overly familiar with all its workings at this point (the amount of time I can put towards it is quite limited also).
Apologies if posting this here is violating any rules.

The Project Is open source ( undead ) , as you can see Dags has posted a unofficial 1.7.10 and 1.8 . Hurricaaane started the project , but everyone is welcome to work on it . please do a little reading before posting and it doesn't hurt to send a thank you to Dags for his time and effort

I have the MSI resource pack that was somewhere along these pages near the end, perhaps that is the problem?
Although if I open it, I can find the file water_underwater_loop.ogg which is exactly what I need.
Does it work for your minecraft? If so, would you mind sharing the resourcepack?
Look in the topic for Rhapsodia_delta_1.7.10.zip resourcepack. I triggered thunderstorm and spawned a bunch of animals etc to test sounds. On land I hear everything that I'm supposed to . I went into the water 2 types Static and moving . Under still water all the sounds above are now muffled as it should be. under moving water I hear the running water plus all the sounds like under static
Huh, I got Rhapsodia working in 1.8 but the MSI conversion does not seem to work at all. I've done the whole forge/liteloader thing and tested it, I'm getting new ambient sounds from the mobs and animals but there is no wind, no leaves, no water muffling whatsoever. I also cannot get a menu for MAtmos to come up. Is Rhapsodia seperate and something just not working with my MAtmos configuration? Any ideas?
Edit: Nevermind, I figured out the problem, I had the wrong version of liteloader and it wasn't running properly. Seems to be working fine now! (and it's awesome!)
I'm a bit confused. I got things to work mostly but I just added the msi package and not the Rhapsody one. Do I need to add both? I have had one problem which is that after teleporting my Minecraft just hung (had to forcibly kill it). I don't know if I can reproduce that. I saw a message in the log about restarting some sound engine. I also see lots of missing sounds in the log (cave dripping and so on). So in summary, I got it to work (VERY nice sounds) but not sure if I'm doing things correctly 100%.

Just one. MSI seems to work. Haven't tried the other.
Edit: Try the files that Dags_ just posted on GitHub.
I believe yes, as long as you had 1) an appropriate sound file 2) knew how to edit the expansions .json files 3)knew the names of the blocks, i think they have that new format like minecraft/dirt or whatever.

I'm asking for a explaination on how. Not if I can at all. I want to add sounds for the Flux tools and weapons. Possibly add energy sounds just by holding the weapons...

I know the function of F7, and I use MSI Comversion. Perhaps the pack is missing files.
Here's my issue.

And food draw, but I was making a Lava power plant, so I wouldn't have pulled out food.
I can now confirm that the MSI_Conversion is indeed missing cave_rumble and food_draw. I will contact the owner of MSI_converion to solve this.
I'm confused. Do I need this MSI_conversion resource pack or something to get the mod to work? Where do I find it?

Excellent mod! If it wasnt for last page, I doubt I would have been able to get it to work on 1.8
However, few things I noticed are wrong
1.No snow biome at all. I was on snowy hill, and it was dead silence, not even wind. (can provide a save if necessary)
2.No underwater effect
3 When high up in sky, i still heard leaves and trees, although they were far.
I am using 1.8 by huricanee.
with the introduction of new biomes in 1.7.10 and 1.8, no one has added the sounds and conditions to the resource pack
My mistake, everything except underwater effect seems to be functioning correctly.
Did underwater go through any changes? It's not really a biome, so why is it not working?
Try Dags new updates for 1.8 and 1.7.10 , he fixed somethings 2 days ago .

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I really appreciate the fix! My mod pack is complete! Thank you!

Any way I could add other mod items to Matmos? Like Redstone Arsenal items, and Ender IO liquid buckets, as an example.
