Pictures/Videos/Media is on the second post. Check them out (I do this to clean up the download section)
DwarvenCraft 1.23.5 [1.3.2]
The Latest version probably has a few bugs in it so please report back anything and everything.
A New World Type was added in so try using that before saying anything. Download*
You need Minecraft Forge build 251.
It should be SMP Compatible now. No Promises or support though.
*By downloading this mod you agree to the Copyright/terms and conditions at the end of this post
What this Mod does is make you live like a Dwarf. You can make stone and metal rods and tools, a reinforced version of the materials that is faster and lasts longer than regular tools, replaces many (and soon to be all) items that require wood with a stone/iron substitute, and Some other stuff that I forget to mention.
8 new stone types each with a cobblestone variant
All the new rocks are able to make tools, workbenches, etc. so there is no need for wood.
All stones can be made into generic tools
Coal -- Y(0- 256)
40 clusters per chunk
Iron -- Y(0 - 128)
40 clusters per chunk
Gold -- Y(0-64)
4 cluster per chunk
Redstone -- Y(0-32)
16clusters per chunk
Lapis -- Y(0- 32)(I think)
2 cluster per chunk
Diamond -- Y(0 - 32)
2 cluster per chunk
Graphite -- Y(1 - 80)
4 cluster per chunk
When you make half slabs and workbenches they will be appropriately textured for the type of rock you use.(See media post)
*furnace, Stairs, etc, are in progress with this feature.
Will this work with <insert mod that adds ores>? I believe so, if not just post it so I can get something worked up.

Really I don't care what you do but I ask you to do 3 things for me.
1. Post a link back here if you redistribute a modified version of this mod.
2. Don't redistribute this if you did not change anything(like if you just want to post this on your blog/youtube channel don't post your own download link) I like to see how many people download the mod and it keeps me motivated to further it. So if you take away some downloads from my links I don't see them and I work on this less.
3.Please don't try to profit off of this mod. I don't so why should you?
So before any of you guys troll and ask for pics/vids here are some.

Ok this is a list of the features that I will try to implement/am thinking about. I don't really want to hear any suggestions for these things as I know what I am working on and it just gets annoying when people post about features that I have not even started on and will not start on for a long time.

RATS:
These little buggers are more useful than you'd think. On one hand, you can kill them for food and bones, although the meat isn't the healthiest and only restores half a heart unless cooked, in which case it restores two hearts. They spawn from randomly generated RAT HOLES, which you can break to gain a RAT PUP. Why would you need rat pups? Because rats are actually fairly handy if raised right! You can give the rat pup a mushroom, different colours will lead to different breeds, and have it grow into a tamed adult, which you can release from your inventory by right clicking the ground with them equipped. The reverse is true, you can pick them up by right clicking with an empty hand.
Several things that these rats can do:
SEEKER: These useful little buggers, when released, will lead you to the nearest MUSHROOM, LICHEN or ORE DEPOSIT. If you place them down in one spot, they will roam around and gather different things to put in a MOUSE PILE, which will be spawned where you placed them. It functions just like a very small chest that the mouse will automatically fill.
BREEDER: Two of these can be combined with a pure stone block to produce an ARTIFICIAL RAT NEST, which will continuously spawn RAT PUPS over a period of time. You can harvest these rat pups by right clicking the nest.
SCRAPPER: These are tough little bastards, and it shows. These savage looking rats have a multitude of uses. For one, they can attack mobs for 2 hearts of damage plus a poisoning effect. They can also be ordered to guard an area and will squeal as a warning of an intruder, they will also attack said intruder. They also have 5 hearts of life.
ABOMINATION: Uh oh, you fed that little pup that nasty mushroom! These monsters are bigger than a wolf and far meaner! Basically, these are one of the wolf-esque dwarven pets you can obtain. They are created by feeding a rat pup a rare magical mushroom, the spectral shroom. They are about twice as large as the wolf and look even savager than the FIGHTER. Unless given specific orders, they will aggressively hunt down enemy mobs, doing four hearts of damage per attack. They can also dig through blocks, although the highest tier they can break is pure stone. They have 10 hearts of life.
CAVE WOLVES: Who said all wolves lived on the surface? Science you say? Pffft, screw science! These prehistoric beasts evolved differently from their surface dwelling cousins in many ways. For one, they are extremely fast to better suit the cave environment. For two? They've evolved a thick black coat of fur and glowing green eyes. They're also bigger than their surface dweller cousins and have an appetite to match. To tame these monsters you'll need to feed them either two rat pups or an adult rat. Their health can be restored with plain meat, though. Similarly to rats, you can breed cave wolves, although the results and process is very different. You see, you'll need to feed each potential breeding wolf a SPICED MEAT, which is made by combining two mushroom spores with a bone and a piece of meat. Then you'll need to put them into a small enclosed space. If they succeed, you'll hear a howl and a puppy will spawn. This puppy will act like a normal wolf, except they only have 2 hearts of health. Now, raising puppies is a tad different from raising rats.
ORDINARY CAVEWOLF : These are what happens if the puppy doesn't do anything during their childhood. They will grow into an ordinary cave wolf, with all that implies. Cave wolves have 4 hearts of health and attack for two and half hearts of damage. Cave wolves, like Scrapper Rats, can be ordered to guard an area, although they will bark and growl instead of squeal.
ALPHA MALE: If the puppy kills atleast two things during it's infancy, they will grow into this. Although what qualifies as a puppy kill is rather lax. So long as the puppy gets two attacks in, it'll count. These guys are bigger, stronger and faster than ordinary. Thus they have 8 hearts of health and hit for four hearts.
DIRE WOLVES: These are the meanest boys on the canine block. Created by a puppy getting five kills, these bad boys are even bigger than an alpha. Unlike other cave wolves, their eyes glow a bright red. They hit for five hearts of damage and move at 1x the speed of alphas, with a sturdy 12 heart HP cementing them as the top killers of the underground.
HELLHOUNDS: You crazy *******! You seriously fed a wolf pup a bucket of lava? Really? Luckily, Minecraft is a game that rewards crazy! These guys are not to be messed with, outclassing even the dire wolves in sheer toughness. They have 15 hearts of health and do 10 hearts of damage per hit, plus an immunity to lava. Overpowered you say? How about if I told you that when a puppy grows into one of these bad boys, they are likely going to go wild and attack YOU? Not so eager now, eh skippy?
SPIDERS: Do these webshooting, wall climbing baddies even need an introduction? I'm afraid they do. Because now the spiders are on your side! Basically, WEBBING spawns near these baddies this time. Webbing can be destroyed with the chance of dropping 1-3 pieces of string. When you come into contact with webbing, you'll be slowed down to half speed. However, you'll need to brave this webbing to get to the EGGCLUSTER. When broken, the egg cluster will drop 1-5 spider eggs which you'll need, trust me. But before you can hatch these little guys, you'll need to craft a NEST, made of three pieces of wool. You can right click the nest to open a chest-like menu for you to place the eggs.
BORING TAME SPIDERS: If you let an egg hatch without doing anything to it, you'll get this. These spiders look like the standard enemy spiders, but with bright blue eyes. They have all the features of normal spiders, including the web spawning ability! Health is 5 hearts and they hit for 2. You can breed spiders by feeding two of them rat pups and putting them in an enclosed space. There is a random chance of one of them "vanishing" in the process, though. Either way, this will produce an eggsack.
MINI SPIDERS: Surround a spider egg with other spider eggs and you'll get this. These little guys are very shy and timid and will stay where you place them, be it on wall, ground or ceiling. Then what are these guys good for? String production. They spawn webs MUCH faster than regular tamed spiders. They don't deal any damage and die in one hit. Can be picked up and placed via right click.
HUNTERS: These guys mean business and that business is pain. These guys are produced via placing three eggs in a vertical line. Two of the eggs will die, though. But is it worth it, you ask? I'm here to say hell yes it is! You see, on top of having 8 hearts of HP and doing 7 hearts of damage, you can place a saddle on these bad boys and go for the ride of your life. They aren't very fast, though. Although with a wall climbing ability, who needs fast?
TALLSHROOMS: Ever miss the ambiance of a nice forest stroll? Well, now you don't need to! Simply put, these are huge ass blue mushrooms that grow similar to the height of trees. Unlike trees, they are, well, mushroom shaped. And they give off light! To get spores to grow these, you'll need to jump on it's head, which will cause it to drop 1-3 SPORES. These things also tend to grow in clusters and vary wildly in height. You can also chop them up for MUSHROOM SLICE, which can be eaten raw for 3 hearts recovery or cooked for 5.
CARP: You'll be scared to go in the water yet again! These bad boys spawn in water 3 blocks deep and have two methods of attack. One, they'll grab you while swimming and start chewing, doing 2 hearts of damage per hit. Two, they'll surprise you while fishing by dragging you in. If you kill it, you'll get a CARP MEAT BLOCK, which can be cooked for a full health recovery!

Everything seems to be working great so far. One thing I would change is to have the stone torch recipe give 4, just like the wooden ones, instead of the 2 it gives now. It eats up coal early on, and I have a tendency to use a lot torches. Especially considering that the stone torches illuminate a smaller area than the wooden ones.

Actually thats one of the things I changed, Stone Torches provide the same amount of light as the wooden ones, but I'll see what the people say about this.

I think Stone Torches should illuminate the same amount as Wooden ones.
I had a suggestion for a Fungi Guidebook you might want to look at. I also had an idea for Fuzzy Bats that can be sheared for (usually brown) wool.
I didn't know if I could even take those suggestions from the other thread, so I didn't even bother with them just yet(I figured people would repost them here if they wanted it added)
I'll add the Fungi Guidebook and the Fuzzy Bats to the ToDo list

Anyone can use my ideas. Credit is not even needed, although it's appreciated.
Another idea: Cursed Epicdwarves
This is somewhat of a joke. It's not meant as an offense, if the users mentioned want this part of this post removed, I will gladly do so.
They look like normal dwarves, but a purple/black color. They can be distinguished from each other by their faces:
RylandAlmanza: has a face that looks liek a coin with a B-like insignia on it Evdude: has a face that looks like a screen with a purple/blue insignia in the corner King Bo: he has a wizard hat and a shaded face with glowing purple eyes. Hizukai: looks like a normal dwarf= but black (not a racist thing, like black as in colored) Johndona: has a face that looks like a purple bag of Ketchup Potato Chips (?) Volgon: I don't know about this one, possibly a Dwarf that's purple with HOPE scrawled on his face? WildWild: I dunno about this one
As I said, these aren't meant as offenses.
One of each Cursed Epicdwarf spawns in your world. Once defeated, they don't re-spawn.
Cursed Dwarf
Looks like a normal dwarf= but an eerie dark-purple color. They do not spawn naturally, and are instead summoned by Corrupted Epicdwarves. Although once miners, they so skillfully use their picks that they can cause massive dents in your heart count.
woah i had no idea a new forum was opened up for dwarvencraft :ohmy.gif: btw i had a few suggestions from the original topic but my old accounts name was RemnantsDefiler..stupid update :/
regardng the spiders, i was thinking maybe once when you have a spider as an ally you can make armor for it which can help have it live longer and aid you in battles, maybe also modify its attack poweer by making sharper claws at the tips of its legs to make it fearsome strong and also rideable.
@King Dedede: wow thats just funny, I might implement it as I actually lol'ed for that one.
@Dag0th_uR: First I think Implementing the mobs would be in order.
@xsksurv: I'm working on the wood replacements and as for the hammer it is only for the reinforced Materials because I see it as a stronger tool that has double the uses so it should be harder to get.
@Thurak:thanks ^^

Well heres a very and would be a time saving suggestion.
A Dwarven Siege Drill which can dig massive tunnels horizontal or vertical(this just popped in my mind i dont have an absolute idea of everything about it) cause right now im basically making a hole thats (in birds eye view) 9 in all cardinal directions with 4 diagonal in between those which is gonna go all the way to bedrock
if i could post a picture of what im trying to describe id do it but obviously dunno how :dry.gif:
*edit: im sorry for double posting but i believe thats an error so delete my post with 2 stones..

Actually thats one of the things I changed, Stone Torches provide the same amount of light as the wooden ones, but I'll see what the people say about this.
Another idea:
Cursed Epicdwarves
This is somewhat of a joke. It's not meant as an offense, if the users mentioned want this part of this post removed, I will gladly do so.
They look like normal dwarves, but a purple/black color. They can be distinguished from each other by their faces:
RylandAlmanza: has a face that looks liek a coin with a B-like insignia on it
Evdude: has a face that looks like a screen with a purple/blue insignia in the corner
King Bo: he has a wizard hat and a shaded face with glowing purple eyes.
Hizukai: looks like a normal dwarf= but black (not a racist thing, like black as in colored)
Johndona: has a face that looks like a purple bag of Ketchup Potato Chips (?)
Volgon: I don't know about this one, possibly a Dwarf that's purple with HOPE scrawled on his face?
WildWild: I dunno about this one
As I said, these aren't meant as offenses.
One of each Cursed Epicdwarf spawns in your world. Once defeated, they don't re-spawn.
Cursed Dwarf
Looks like a normal dwarf= but an eerie dark-purple color. They do not spawn naturally, and are instead summoned by Corrupted Epicdwarves. Although once miners, they so skillfully use their picks that they can cause massive dents in your heart count.
found it...
@Dag0th_uR: First I think Implementing the mobs would be in order.
@xsksurv: I'm working on the wood replacements and as for the hammer it is only for the reinforced Materials because I see it as a stronger tool that has double the uses so it should be harder to get.
@Thurak:thanks ^^
Although a mention would be nice.
